I stand corrected - Factor it is, indeed.

I just went a listened to his show at the Air America website. After listening to Franken's show for exactly one (1) hour, I can say beyond any shadow of a doubt he is a large factor in their failure...

Al Franken is nothing without Tom Davis from the original SNL team. His numerous failed attempts over the last 20 years to have a career in TV and radio prove that.

OK now back to the radio stuff... So he really is that bad? I'll accept that. I'm more of a Stern listener anyways. But the entire network was having problems with paying bills. They were taken off the air here in Chicago and Los Angeles within the first week they were on the air due to it.

So the thing that confuses me is how anyone can be a sincere musician and a Republican at the same time. That's like saying you are a tree-hugging vegan as you eat gristle.
Sounds like you're about Ted Nugent.

                            Re: upcoming republican convention sched.

I generally think of musicians as creative and clever thinkers with a heart and soul (whatever heart and soul means to you). At the same time, I've never met any Republican that was creative or clever or had a heart or soul (except for the one they get to visit on Sunday while they PRAISE THE LAWD).

So the thing that confuses me is how anyone can be a sincere musician and a Republican at the same time. That's like saying you are a tree-hugging vegan as you eat gristle.
<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">You have to look at it like this. If give a man a fish, he will eat for a day (Democratic ideas) Teach a man to fish and he will eat for a lifetime (Republican ideas)

                            Who is more "Compassionate"?

A hand up will go a lot further than a hand out. Conservatives will always look bad for wanting to do away with Welfare and other government programs like that, but those programs are a path that leads nowhere, creates more dependency on the Government, and are very hard to get off of.

Republicans may well teach someone how to fish. But they will make the poor bastard go out and buy his own fishing pole. The Democrats will give the poor bastard a fish and $20.00 and not care that he spends it on two dime bags.

Libertarians would say, "Don't kill the poor fish. As for the dime bags, your house or mine?"
