It means that Jackson ownership will once again trade hands, and we don't know what kind of people the buyers will be. Will they Kramer-ize Jackson or take good care of them?

This gets me nervous.
It finally seemed that Jackson was moving in the right direction and now this.
I am assuming that Fender overextended itself with all the accquisitions and now whoever buys it may have to close down some shops.
I hope I'm wrong.

That may not necessarily be the case. It could be that the current ownership feels that the company is strong and at the top of it's game, so when's the best time to go out? On top!
We can speculate all we want, but at this point though it's all wait-and-see.
