Yeah a win from Conteras would be good today. He just needs to hold out till the end of June in the majors so he can lift that 24+ era he has against the Sox. lol Brown lower back strain? Not good. That's what took him out for 2 years ago back in 2001. Jeter a Cap'n A-Rod pulled my groin strain? Another injury. Their working their way out as the Sox players are recovering.

pokey was a great pickup for you.
he's got a couple of gold gloves at 2nd as well.

No doubt. It's been a while since we had a decent second baseman. Walker could hit, but damn he could f up any shallow outfield pop up. Even Bellhorn is a good defensive upgrade. And his on base has been great this year. With the bat and the walks.

i thought walker was a big loss for you guys.
all i heard was that he could not field, but i saw him make some great plays in the alcs.
he saved the game snaring soriano's drive in game 7. it did hit the mound but still a tough play.

Boring compared to some of the other stuff posted in this section? lol I think not. I was skeptical of how well Bellhorn and Pokey would do at second and thought Walker was a loss also. But not anymore. Bellhorn was the biggest surprise. Pokey I expected great defense. But it seems Ron "Papa Jack" Jackson gave Pokey the tools he needs to swing a more potent bat also. If you watch an early season or spring training game and compare it to a recent game you can see a huge difference in his swing.

what do you think about the texas rangers?
kenny rogers is 9-3, and the lineup has been phenominal, but i just don't see them keeping this up the whole season. i could be completely wrong though, they could be the angels of 2002
and we don't even know it.
