I think they stand a chance. Angels are good to though. I think it will be a slug fest for the West. Sox and Yanks will probably both be in the mix again this fall for the East and the wild card spot. At the rate they going now at least.

The Pats got Ty Law all calmed down. And he wants to retire a Patriot. Which is good. That's the weekly NFL update. lol

i think the lakers being down 2-1 is just the bait that everyone seems to be taking that detroit is gonna win now. not taking away how the pistons played, they smoked 'em, but the lakers have not shown up yet for three games.
i'd say it's time now with the next two still in motown. i still think the lakers take 'em, and it is going 7 now for sure. pistons had 17 more free throws and the lakers looked like they puffed a fatty before the game. they look like dogmeat so far.

here's my call, lakers tank again in game 4,
and then win three in a row fairly handily.
last two are in L.A. if they can pull it off.
and then again, they might just gag and lose
before that. [img]images/icons/tongue.gif[/img] people try to compare kobe to jordan, but jordan always showed up to play, he had off nights but he would not let his whole team just tank like the lakers sometimes do.
he seemed completely focused even on a rare bad night. lakers need self motivation on many occaisions, michael did not.

We're 4 games out in augest, and the phills always suck in august, and I don't see a florida repete either. I say it's time for a 13th divsion title celebration [img]graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

I can almost 100% gurrentee every year that the phillies and mets will collapse in august, since they always do.

The NL central's going to be the race to watch, Plus I'm pulling for Jr. since I'm from Seattle
