Is that a requirement? I don't think they had one back in the times of the caveman. lol Anyhow. You need to get tickets bro. I'll be there Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Right across the turnpike at the hotel commonwealth. Yankee game Saturday starts at 3:15. Gates open at 1:45. If you haven't been to Fenway yet it's a must see ball park. The entire area around the park is one big party also. I'll be taking part in outer park festivities on Friday night. Bars are usually packed early. Glad my NY licensed Jeep will be parked in a private lot. Last time it took about an hour to roll it back over on to it's wheels. lol

there. it's a must. i'd be subject to all kinds of abuse for not making a sox, i mean yankee-sox game in fenway when i am only 45 minutes from boston. how much are the scalpers gonna be? ballpark price?(no pun intended)

Ugh. I really don't know dude. Safely? Maybe 150 a pop. For cheap seats. You may be able to get standing room for cheaper. They do have tickets they reserve for the window. But you would have to get there damn early to get them. Even a few monster seats at the window. Those are plush.

One thing that may make it easier to get tickets is that everyone seems to be avoiding Boston this weekend because of the whole democratic convention/terrorist threat thing. They may avoid the games for the same reason. I switched my hotel to the one right acorss from Fenway. Earlier this year it was close to booked and rooms were going for 900 a night. Now they have room with rooms going for 239 a night. So a lack of people may force the scalpers to sell low. Hard to tell.
