Mikey, you need to relax bro. Take a deep breath and dream of being taller...I guarantee you'll feel better.

I ride a dual purpose bike and wear a helmet because it matches the paint on my bike...looks really nifty. I've eaten the dirt, asphalt, concrete and grass too many times to count and have always bounced my melon around in the tumble. But the biggest thing is that the helmet matches the bike - how cool is that?

        Re: Opinions

I've rode both motocross and street bikes, I still have 2 bald spots on the back of my head from flipping my CR125 right after I got it when I was 14, I wanted to give it a quick test after setting it up the day after I got it and just hit a rock wrong on a trail I've ridden 5000 times in my life. On my ninja I always had my helmet on, I don't trust anybody on the road

Based on this thread, most of you non-wearing helmet riders have your brains already in a bucket. You get on a bike and, all of a sudden, you are are exercising your right to free brain-death. Bike riders count for such an insignificant number of vehicles on the road, that car drivers don't even know you are there until you end up as a hood ornament. I think they ought to corral all bikers and deport them to North Dakota (or Wherever the hell Sturgess is ) and let them ride naked and as fast as they want.
