damn, the edit time expired before I could edit my bad use of "they're". now I must await RacerX

Black Mariah - I tracked down and was just listening to some Floor tracks, very nice - you've heard Dove, I assume? (one of the same guys I think)

They kind of remind me of Rebreather (another band that you're probably familiar with but I'll throw out there just in case)

I never thought I'd see Graves at Sea mentioned on here. There's hope for this forum yet. I got to see them a couple of months ago alongside Yeti. That was an awesome show. The guys in Graves at Sea are some of the nicest dudes you'll ever meet as well.

sully: Check out Floor. I can't remember if I've told you about them or not. You'll probably like them.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I have to agree with him on this.

For a complete change of pace I have to recommend Strunz and Farah. Flemenco guitar at it's finest.

Junior Brown, old school country with a new fangled instrument. (the guit-steel)

Counting Crows, mellow and melancholy, but the songwriting is there.

here's one that'll make your eyes roll, but is GREAT when you're in the mood: wish, by the cure. get past the friday i'm in love (good song, imo) and go to trust, letters to elise, cut, the edge of the deep green sea. good band, the cure is.
