I thought these bands were both done.They are playing at Blockbuster Pavillion.This month I believe.

depends on who you believe.

ace wanted to be done after the farewell tour; and stuck to his guns and didn't play into the money grubbing monster that kiss has become. he's not the smartest guy, but he easily could have put the warpaint on tour after tour and kept feeding his bank account. not sure if integrity and his hatred for gene and paul spoke louder than any kind of party habits, but ace left on his own. he wasn't kicked out, and he actually was given a ton of dough, and offered more to continue. he chose to not.

[img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img] yes, i regularly go to that site... my point is that gene isn't the most honest of people. there was a great blurb on there about a rant from peter criss about the band. he had a great point about how tommy is totally unworthy of wearing ace's makeup, considering he went from getting peter's dinner to playing with him on stage.

kiss has replaced aerosmith as #1 on my "bands that consistenly break my heart" list. they know that the public has no interest whatsoever in kiss other than their back catalog, and they have no plans whatsoever to work on their future. it's sad to see such a revolutionary band (stop snickering!) become such a shell of what they once were.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">no, eric singer is wearing the makeup. it's funny, the two of them always say that no one is irreplaceable, and that's such bullshit. i'd love to see gene or paul get on stage with some schmuck in one of their makeup and expect it to be okay.
