Re: Knees or Elbows????

Hey....to prove my point here, and more importantly, rule out the chance of Newc's idea coming into play (which, by the way, I didn't initiate or bring up ), here is my unrefutable proof of my statement, dogs do in fact have both knees and elbows

    Dog anatomy (knees and elbows)

So, there you have it....and that will conclude todays anatomy lesson for the JCF broadcasting system

Besides, the "mothers of America" have crippled us to "correct" little Johnny and Suzie, so we are forced to use paper and ruin them vice endure a little "incentive" PT for infractions. I remember the good ol' days, 2 Marines, the tree line, whoever had the most heart walked away .

I'm with ya. I enlisted right about the time they were getting away from that "old corps" mentality. Once that "hazing" video of those Marines getting their wings "pinned" on came out in 96, it was over. I don't know how it is where your stationed but in Beaufort SC, we can no longer administer or partake in the "blood stripe ceremony" when a Marine becomes an NCO. I always thought hazing was stupid, but I do believe in tradition.

Anyways, it was not my intention to highjack this thread. If google says elbows and knees, than it’s got to be right.

Knees AND elbows. If you look at the anatomy of the dog, you will be able to see it better. The structure is not all that different from humans.

Well, there is no question that Travis has knees and elbows. I don't care whether a dog has knees, elbows or fins. Just don;t pee on the carpet. "Knees to the front; elbows, step to the rear."

Shouldn't she be on her knees and elbows for DOGGIE style?? Down on the elbows gets the ass up higher.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Yeah, my wife tried to argue the point with me last night, too. She said that dogs don't have knees or elbows because you don't call those joints "knees" or "elbows" When I explained to her that they are virtually the same joints as those on humans she insisted that "animals don't have knees or elbows, only humans do." So, I asked her if monkeys had them, they're animals, and technically humans are animals too. Knees and elbows are common names for the joints, why can't they be used to name the joints in animals, too?

In the end, I learned one valuable lesson: women are always right, even when they're not.

                            Dammit

Leave it to Mrs LPC to start a JCF "battle of the sexes"

Ya know....if I'm wrong, I'll apologize and admit I was wrong (whatever the case, ya know)...now, why can't women do the same thing?

It's like that little patch o fur and the chest bumps makes them 100% right or something.

Ladies of the JCF...get over it...dogs do in fact, scientifically and medically, have both knee and elbow joints.....although they are not normally named as such by the general populace.

As the Eagles so eloquently said, "Get over it"
