and my dream job has come through.
they are doing some really secret research
at some federal pen that involves big needles and heavy sedation that lasts for months at a time. and i qualified to be one of the vegetables
that get to go into a deep coma like sleep!!!!!! it's called- "project daddy dead brain". and they're gonna pay me on top of it. anyone who thinks this country is not heaven is grossly misguided. i got a job!!!!

Hey I agree! somedays of heavy cigs and coffee really does get one close to a mild speed ballin trip. It's a sad reality when the illegal drugs become cheaper than a couple pots of coffee and two or three packs of cigarettes [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

I want to write to Congress ...Here I am an ex cop that served my city well for a dozen years and in doing so I was hurt for life ...

I found that weed is the best natural anti-depressant and pain killer ....and it should be legal for me to put myself more at ease...

I think if I hit them that way ....it looks pretty credible...

Weed should absolutely be legal ....it is absolutely ridiculous that booze is legal and weed is not ...

Weed is not harmful in anyway ...I smoke a lot then drive everyday ....it does not cloud my perception in the slightest but booze and pain killers sure do ...

so what the fuck...

Something is terribly wrong with this law....

so many people got busted selling a natural resource that is less harmful than legal substances.....and they are doing hard time for it ..some doing more time than violent crime offenders.. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

as a law enforcement officer ...I demand that this is soooooooooooooooooo wrong.

I would treat driving with weed just like a sobriety test ....you pass the test ...you go on your way ...without a case!

The problem here is the people that are pushing to legalize weed don't appear that credible ..

we need more professional people to come forward ....Laywers , doctors , law enforcement , and etc. to speak up!!!

Bill I agree with you whole heartedly.You need to ask yourself these basic questions.
1. Are you addicted?(to pot)
2. Is pot leading you to want to try harder drugs?
3. Would you steal or do bodily harm to others to support your craving?
4. When you get high do you want to go out and cause trouble or have a snack and relax?

I put # 4 in there just to be funny but it's a realistic question too.It's too bad you found this out after being a cop so long but if you had known the truth sooner it might have messed up your career.
After thinking about this subject for many years I can only come to one conclusion. marijuana is still illegal because the government is somehow making more money off of it this way than they could if it was legalized!
I read some where that they could wipe out the national debt in 2-3 years if they legalized pot.I just doesn't make sense to me when you compare the effects and results of alcohol to weed.Of course they did try to outlaw alcohol at one time but didn't have much luck.
I wish the government would take a more realistic approach on their drug awareness campaign because the kids know what they say about pot isn't necesarily true, so therefore dont beleive anything which can lead to problems
