i just got boned up the ass on my car insurance.
7 speeding tickets (including an 80m.p.h. in a 30 zone), 3 red light violations, and 3 failure to appears have led to the cashectomy of the century. a total removal of all monies from the patient. failure to appear? i appeared at the dealers house on those 3 particular days. failure to appear where? [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
this year keeps getting stranger and stranger,the longer i stay clean the poorer i become. [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]
go figure.

the dmv is now saying that my license is suspended.

back in '92 my license was suspended (big surprise) and my buddy's girlfriend worked at Nordstrums. i had her bring a mannequin home
for me. i put a wig on her and taped a cigarette to her mouth and i drove in the carpool lane for months until i finally got nailed doing 115 m.p.h. on the way home from work on a friday.
the cop freaked when he walked up to the car when i got pulled over. it went like this-

officer mcknightstick-"what the hell is the rush?!!! hey!!!!! what the hell is that?!!!!!!!

me-"officer, my company's biggest account from sweden is in town. they are in L.A., i am all the way down here and i am late to go take them out. i'm gonna lose the account officer!!!!!"

officer-"shut up!!!!!!!!!! i'm gonna let you go.
if i see this again i will not write you a ticket, i will bring you straight to jail!!!
you got it?!!!! and i'm taking the dummy!!!

but he did not take me, he took the mannequin.
you know he had a riot with that thing back at the station. my co-workers said i was crazy because "that's a $450.00 ticket dude"
i said, in new york, people pay over $200.oo a month just to ride the train for a month into the city. my buddy and his girlfriend unfortunately broke up, and i could not get another mannequin. ah the memories and tender kodak moments [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img]

My best one is a few years ago when I was like 18, We pulled out of a buddies house in his 92 Trans Am, Well we were loaded full of different kinds of alchohol and chemicals on each of us, we each kept most of our shit in camara bags since my buddy sold camaras, Well we also happened to have a brand new camcorder sitting on my lap in the back seat, so We pull out and as soon as my buddy carcks a beer in the Passanger seat, we get pulled over, well he throws the bottle back at me and I get it hidden, well we had a burned out rear blinker, after the cop tells us that, he asks if we've been drinking or doing drugs We say well no, he then says whats in that Camara bag son, I go We're making a movie for our colloge mid term, he goes well ok, just don't go out and make any of those jackass type movies. Fuck, we were all 18 and had tons of shit on each of us that would of been major shit, all for personal use but they probally would've got us for intent to sell for the quanity

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I dunno why, but that is how it works. Life got a hell of a lot weirder for a year or two, before it leveled out, got boring, stayed that way for a few years, then finally stated to get interesting (in a non-deadly way) again.

Of course, some folks say that if you've still got a car, then you ain't done yet. [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] I didn't have a car anymore, so insurance wasn't a problem that I had to figure out.

Now? Interesting as shit. Tough hump to get over, though.

i mean, of course there are repercussions from retardo behavior a la tommy, i'm not shocked at all with the current lashings from the driving gods, i deserve it, but it's weird not knowing what's gonna happen each day now.

Me too, Since I quit 2 months ago, I've to pay the courts to prove I'm clean by taking Daily BA's at $12 a day, 2 impound fees, lawyer fees, bail, I had more money when I was out using everyday. But it will get better here by the end of summer when all the leagal shit is done.
