Not for me. PODs are as far as I'll go from a real amp. I prefer the sound of micing an amp, even a solid state.

I would, however, love to try it out for fun and fairness.

It does sound very good but $500 is way more than I'd pay for something that would tie me to the computer.

Yeah i also think it's just too much $$$. Yes you get a special footswitch with it (which looks really ugly) but this doesn't justify the amount of money. I think this is more geared towards the professional recording engineer than towards the normal guitar player/homerecording geek.

I am still curious how it sounds but since i can't demo it anywhere near (no store or friend has it) i think i stay curious [img]images/icons/wink.gif[/img]

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Agreed. Now, if I found it used for like, $100, I'd probably get it. That stuff is so handy for songwriting. Just pick up your guitar, go over to computer, and work. Very convienent(spl?), when it all works correctly.
