  • More Ebay Pet Peeves: Misleading titles to hook a buyer

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...729926747&rd=1

Subtitle says "Quilt top". That's plain fucking bullshit, and the guy fucking knows it. He's got "FLAMED maple top" right in the fucking listing.
This is taking "keyword spamming" to a new low, IMO, and it's entirely too rampant.

WEll, looks like no one bid anyway, so hopefully that's because of his BS.

I agree with you on misleading title keywords. I also really despise titles for, say, a Jay Turser or a Tokai that also say, "...NOT Jackson, Charvel, Ibanez, Fender, Gibson, Hamer, Guild, Grosh, Andreson, PRS".
Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.

I saw a Jazzmaster a few weeks back that had 'mint' up in that subtitle area and the thing was beat within an inch of its life. I emailed the seller to see what his definition of 'mint' was and he says "It has all of the stock parts. That means it is mint.'. What a fucking bag lapper.

Death? Jeez, that's a little extreme don't you think??

I say we put a badger in a bag and put it over their head... then make him shower in lemon juice. That oughta make him think twice...

I think I'm going to have to re-think my stance on killing these chuckleheads... Here's a few examples that just steam my shorts!! (and they're from the same guy)

For a first offense, simply tap dance on their PP with golf shoes. I don't think there would be a second offense.
