• SAN FRANCISCO!

Hey fellow JCFers, my labor union has me in SF Cali for a labor convention, and I've had the luck of stepping into a cyber cafe.

All I have to say, is the people that live here have i hard, and at the same time very easy. The prices suck, period (bay area) but there is about a bazillion places to eat, and buy things.

Just wanted to say hi to everyone, and let everyone know, the pics I like the most I'll be uploading when I get back home. 7 Days if definately not enough time to spend here.

    LATER!

I hear that prices aren't the only things that suck in "Than Fran-thisco".

      j/k, I couldn't resist.

If you like clam chowder you must try the chowder at Boudin's (sp)? at Fishermans Wharf! The best I've ever had.Check out the museum of Natural history and science if it has been reopened yet. It took me ten years to get back to S.F. and wouldn't you know it they were closed for relocation when I was there.(Golden Gate Park). You're right I figure it takes at least two weeks to see most of what's there in the area.

When you go to Fisherman's Wharf, forget about the Alcatraz tour. I used to live in the area, and back then the reservations were booked waaay in advance. If you can somehow snag the trip, do it. It's supposed to be very cool.

Where's your convention? Moscone? If so I'm right next door. PM me if you want to meet for a drink.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Loved the area. Take him to the pawnshops on 6th and the one's on Mission or is it Van Ness. Anyway it's all close by and I'm sure you've been to them.

Two words: Vesuvio's & Spec's. Best bars in town, find 'em.

And while you're not conventing, go to the wine country. It's a little north and the wineries and the tasties are very nice. Seeing as how you are union, rent a limo and write it off as "office supplies". ATTENTION: THIS WAS MEANT TO BE A JOKE. THIS POST IN NO WAY MEANS ANY DISRESPECT TO YOUR UNION OR ANY OTHER BROTHERS.

Besides all the "gay jokes", San Francisco is a great town. The food is great, there is actually weather(which we don't have in L.A., we only get more or less smog, depending on the ocean breeze). Everything costs way too damn much, but you can pretty much smoke weed on the street(which we can do here in L.A. too, more or less, just blame the plume of smoke on the smog and everyone will believe you). But the traffic does suck, as it does here in L.A. too.

Comparing LA to SF is like comparing oranges to grapes.

Frisco Rocks! I played at "The Pound" out there. Very cool bar and a great P.A.

I would love to go back soon!

Having spent most of my life in the "Bay Area", there is: "The Bay"; "The Bridge"; "The Rock" and the "City". "When you're going to San Frannncisco, don't forget to put a flower in your hair." And don't forget to read the tourist guide.
