Firtz emailed me about doing a fantasy football league again this year and I saw there was some interest in the “c'mon jose, don't fukk up" thread. Fritz I also apologize for my slow response to your email, Ive been fairly buzy with wedding plans, moving preparations, my band and work lately.

Some of the key issues to think about are:

- Entry Fee so we can have a prize for the winner this time around ( as Fritz calculated 12 guys x $ 25 = Model 4 for the winner, 12 guys x $ 50 = Charvel 750xl, 12 guys x $100 = Jackson USA or GMW, Strathead, 12 guys x $200 = Custom Shop)
- Date to do the draft
- If we want to use Yahoo fantasy football again this year
- Contributing some money towards a prize for Tommy since he kinda got screwed out of his prize for winner the league last year. (I’m willing to put more money towards Tommy’s prize fund than everyone else since it my fault he didn’t get a prize last year for not getting things organized).

Also I don’t know if I will have time to be the full time commissioner this year, because I’m getting married on September 4th. I can certainly be involved in helping to run the league but September is basically a write off for me. We can have a group of commissioners or just appoint fritz to be commissioner as he has showed interest.

Anyway anyone who’s interested in playing please respond to this thread and offer your opinions so we can get some details worked out.

the defending champs are in!!!
don't worry about last year's prize. it's more fun whining about it-lol.

odds that the ATOMIC CHARVEL JETS repeat as champs-

I'm in--the Fighting Pro-Fusions are ready to go, baby!

I also vote for using the Yahoo FFL again this year--it seemed to work pretty well last year. Although I would participate even if there was no prize, I would be willing to contribute up to $50 to buy the winner a guitar.

yes please. count me in. though I don't know if I'll be able to pull 100 bucks out of my ass. 50 dollars is more my budget.

The San Dimas Skin Pistons have built a new stadium, so they are most definitely in.

I know the Yahoo is free, but quite lame, as you can't get real time scoring unless you pay the extra cheddar. I was in an ESPN leagues last year, and it works pretty good. $29 bucks though.

how could you afford a new stadium skinnly?
your attendance dropped off dramatically after your loss to the jets-lol.

the atomic charvel jets are backed by steinbrenner.

I'll do $25, $50 $100 or $200. Whatever you guys decide.

Fanball is also an option to host our league. I have used them the last two years in our work league and they do a great job. $49 for the season.

Atomic Tommy McClendon, you don't have a prayer this year.

since you're the new commish, are you taking payments yet (under the table) on draft spots?
i paid a hefty sum to chris last year and it got the 11th pick i think-lol

Hey Tommy, how are your NY Jets going to do this year? WTF happened to their D last year? That team has way too much talent to play like that.

pennington going down in the last pre-season game with a broken hand 2 minutes before halftime just about broke us. he was out for 7
games i think. other than the fact that we suck-lol
