    Re: Selled my 9mm

Got one of these too. Older .44 Mag. Made in Israel. I think the new ones are US made. Alot of fun to shoot, not for carry though.

All you guys stand back to back in a circle. Take ten paces; turn; and fire. Then take two aspirin and go to bed. "Ow!! That's gotta hurt."

        Re: Selled my 9mm

Was at the shootinbg range a few years ago, trying out all types of 9mm. Of all of them I tried, the nicest was the Glock. There was a really crappy cheap one (Hi-tec or something like that) that was super accurate, but seemed very shady in construction. I tried a S&W, H&K, and a few others, but overall the glock was comfy to use (I have big hands) and accurate.

            > Being brought up around an old military man like my grandfather,I learned to shoot young, even though I don't dig hunting. In my experience, give me Glock Perfection all the time. Other than a few of the high end custom .45 builders like Kimber and Les Baer,I won't own a a handgun other than my pre-ban Model 19,or the 23 I have now, loaded with Cor-Bon +P. In putting close to 1000 rounds thru the 19 and about 600 thru the 23,neither has ever malfunctioned. If I need more than 20 rounds of 9mm or 10 of .40,I have access to a HK91 my grandfather gave my dad as an anniversary present several years ago. The one time I went deer hunting, this is what I took. I had a friend that was shot 15 times in the back with a 9mm and lived. That's why I own a .45. If I have to shoot a motherfucker, I want him STOPPED. That's why my first handgun was a .357

I carry a Glock 17 on duty and it is great. Reliable and very accurate. A custon Springfield 1911 .45 protects my home. It is very accurate, I used to compete with it.
I still keep practicing though.... Mostly because I hate my neighbors.-MakeAJazzNoiseHere

Good out to 3500 yards,if properly sighted and compensated for bullet drop. Hey Horns, funny you should mention hunting people. When I called my grandfather and asked him what he could tell me about deer hunting,he said "Well not much,I always had more fun hunting a man than I did anything that had 4 legs and didn't shoot back",then added if I do go hunting,be a man and get down on the ground and go get a deer.
