<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">A Gymnasium is where we go to exercise and play indoor sports like basketball.
It's strictly a place for physical education not academics.
As for schools:
Preschool - 3-4 years old
Kindergarten - 5 y.o.
Grammer (elementary) school - 6-10 y.o.
Middle School - 11-13 y.o.
High School - 14-17 y.o.
College/University - 18 years and older
Some areas will have Junior High Schools instead of middle schools; in that case the grammer schools will go up to 11 and
junior high will be 12-14, and HS 15-17.

Fragle, I checked the dictionary for that gymnasium. I am not very sure who do they call it in abroad, because their school system is a bit different.
I think it's secondary school, but I don't know which chances are open for you when you finish it. When you finish gymnasium, you have all chances open to continue your study.
