Freaking PopUps driving me FREAKING MAD!!!

I know this topic has been brought up before here, but right now I dont have the patience to search for it. What is a good popup blocker that you can download for freaking free??? I dont know what Mr LPC has been clicking on (he tends to get clickfuckinhappy) and now Ive got popups out the mortal fucking ass. If I dont find a way to get rid of them, this freaking computer is fixin to go flyin out the freaking window.

The best option is to use the Mozilla browser. (www.mozilla.org). It's an open source version of Netscape that includes a setting where it won't open any pop-up ads--or any other window you haven't requested. Note that AOL, which owns Netscape, did not put that capability in the actual "Netscape" version of the browser. I always hate it when I'm in a situation where I don't have a choice but to use Explorer--the pop-ups have gotten out of control on the Web.

If you're suddenly gettig pop ups in places you didn't before, you are infected with some sort of adware.

Dowload Spybot and ad-aware, they should be able to remove it. Links to them are here on my dog website under "computer oriented" stuff, second group from the top.

Don't use yahoo or google popup blockers, those f'kers actually put their own spyware in your machine and block everyone elses. I have an arsenal of blockers that work.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">hey john, this is exactly what i'm getting. i've run spybot, but it still happens. i did a norton sweep, and they came up with more that spybot missed, but norton was unable to delete some of them. that's one thing i don't get. any ideas?

Well, in my late opinion,
Most apps listed above, their primary functions have nothing to do with popup blocking. These companies made their name based on their primary functions, not these 'new' Ver2.202b! secondary options.
They are doing what Microsoft is doing, and trying to monopolize. And most times, they really suck at their secondary shit (just like Microsoft)
Use them for what they were originally intended.

I've always used Google toolbar and have had zero issues, and all spyware programs I have run have had zero issues with it. Just configure it and use it as a dedicated popup blocker, nothing else. If a site needs a popup and you want it, holding control while clickin the link allows it through, it's that simple.
