I definitely do Tommy. Spent all last night trying to keep the wife going after finding a suicide note and most of her pill bottles empty. [img]/images/graemlins/frown.gif[/img] Got her through it though.

Jack, sorry to hear that, man. I went through that with my mother many times after my father died. It sucks to come home from school and find your mom OD'ed. After several times you can actually get numb to it; don't feel bad about yourself if that happens, it's your defense mechanisms dulling the pain so you can function.

If I wanted to suicide I would just use a gun and get it done. ODs are cries for help IMO, not real suicide attempts, but I'm not a psychologist, just someone who had 15 years of my mom doing it periodically. She always timed it so someone found her in time. Best of luck with your own tribulations; I hope things get better for y'all.

Rich , first How are you doing my friend we have been very concerned about your well being..including me. You have been in my thoughts ever since that Katrina shit..how are things my good friend..good as can be I hope.

Jack..oh my bro..I have had problems man..with myself..not going into details here those are my demons..some welcomed ..some are NOT. I had to endure losing my wife for a very long time in c/w anorexia..it nearly killed her ..and we are still dealing with that issue as we speak...but I insist on her being well ..therefore she has no choice..I saved my wife's life..PERIOD!

OK , Now to to issue at hand..why Jack..why..if you don't want to go into details here please PM me..I'll be a little busy today doing some errands ..first, were the police called..if so, a crisis intervention report would be made and they would put her in the hospital for psyche evaluation..you may have gone thru that before. I'm sorry you are dealing with this man..you are truly a very good dude..I know this. You are there for her as I am for my wife..because we love them.

what did she take..do you think she means it or is it another issue ..as petty as attention..I've delt with many suicides / attempted suicides...once one lady almost took me with her over a bridge..I had her by the pants with both hands with all my might..she was not a small girl..no wonder my back is all fucked up..oh well. At least I saved her for that moment..

If it wern't for my wife and kid..I'd take myself out in a heartbeat..not because I'm weak..or depressed (which I am)..but I can't endure this consistant pain..somedays I can't move..like today..but I'm going to take my family out for lunch and do some shopping with them...I'll just eat enough painkillers to get me tru ...I can't go to metal shows anymore if I must stand..I can't stand for longer than a half an hour before my back goes into convulsions and whatknots..it sucks ass ..it sucks all the ass it could possibly suck!
