You would HATE it at my house! The west Texas sun is brutal, and even with all the shutters closed it's still bright in my house. There are no trees, no shade. The sun just beats the living hell out of our home. Which is brick. [img]/images/graemlins/brow.gif[/img]
It's way too expensive to cool the indoors down as cool as you like it, I think my air conditioner would DIE. We keep the indoors at a constant 78F. I don't know anyone that can get their home cooler than that around here.

In july and august it stays between 105-110 consistently, so this heat isn't surprising, but usually by the end of september it starts staying in the upper 80s.
We've only lived here for two years, but as much as I dig Texas I can't WAIT to MOVE!! This time next year we will be. YES!! [img]/images/graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]
