                  Steve what kind of Strat do you have..

                  I have a pretty killer one..a USA '95 "Floyd Rose classic"..in Yngwie yellow and maple with two DiMarzio PAFs pros and a Floyd of course..I waited over a year for it..it supposed to be "custom shop" because I wanted a pearloid pickgaurd ..back then that wasn't a standard thing like nowadays..it doesn't say custom on the headstock..they had Chandler make one for this model..they sent them a template for the two hums and the locking..

                  I almost bought the Richie Sambora model..it's basically the same set up..but the star inlays looked GAY to me at the time..

                  Oh I had a Jap HRR model..it KILLED..a real floyd Rose too..and custom Dimarzios...I actually liked that a tad better than the USA one..but I droped a can of wax on while cleaning it and made a ding...so I had to sell it..because that ding was killing me..                         I've only got a Japanese Re-issue of a 68 Strat in natural. I changed the bridge pickup to a JB Junior and left the other pickups as they were. I'm thinking of getting it refretted for 6105 frets though because i hate the feel of the small frets. But i think i might just put a mutt together.

                            Yeah that's the one. I had the ingenius idea of super gluing the plastic knobs to the volume and tone pots. Now they won't come off so changing pickups again will be a bitch [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

                              Holy fuck Bill. I haven't visited here in a while, and just read about what happened to Vin. Glad to hear he's doing well. Broken bones really suck major dick. I know, because I've broken all kinds of shit over the years. Vin sounds like a tough kid. He'll be just fine.

                                Yo Bill, I haven't been here too much lately so I just read what happened to Vin. That totally sucks and I hope he has a full recovery. I feel for you man...its tough when something happens to our kids. I always wish there was some way I could take the pain in their place. Sorry to hear about it...tell Vin to hang in there and come back with a vengeance.
