Yeah, you'd feel bad being mean to him alright! He's one mild-mannered guy to play the way he does. Most who can play half as well as him are cocky as hell. The Insidious Corruption of Mrs VitaminG continues......

The wife borrowed my car while I dropped hers in for a service on Friday. I have had Ark's Burn The Sun in the car on continuous play, and knowing that she'd have my wheels the next day, I cued up the last track on the album, a lovely little ballad (although it goes for 9-odd minutes and gets a bit heavier during the second half).

Friday night, the conversation went something like this:

her: "What's that cd you've been playing in your car lately?"
me: "it's Ark - Burn The Sun. With that guy, Jorn Lande, I keep raving about on vocals"
her: "oh, ok"
me: "why........?"
her: "no reason"
me: "did you like it?"
her: "hmmm"
me: "You did, didn't!?"

I started with the kids, because they're young and impressionable. Now my son loves anything Iron Maiden & my daughter digs Nightwish. I keep telling the wife, there's a style of metal to suit everybody!!

after not giving a fuck about "reality" TV..and vowed I wouldn't watch a single one of that horseshit..

I got suckered..well it was the "metal" on VH-1 that lured me..see how they do it..sneaky fuckers..

So I see the preview to "SUPERGROUP"..and it was coming up next Sunday night..me and the wife looked at each other and said..fuggit..we gotta see this..

So I watched the first episode..please share you views with me here..

Right outta the box comes in Nugent..well , he's the Nudge..that's it!

Then comes in Jason Bonam..Nudge didn't recognize him, but once he learned who he was..instant respect!

Then comes Scott Ian..he's see the Nuge and shits..bows down with mucho respect..

Then come that whatever that fuck is from Biohazard..like WTF is this dude..he's a wannabe inked up bad ass, half 'tarded B grade porn turd that can barely play the fucking bass..and comes in with an attitude...but he's cool with Scott because they know each other from back in the day..

Then comes in Kid Ego ..Sabatian Bach..he sees Ted and shits, see Scott and shits ..meets Jason and shits and then meets that Biodick!

So right off the bat, Ted asks "please don't let me be the focal point here"..but starts ripping into a groove..Sebatian INSTANTLY digs it and tells him to go in a certain direction..Ted complies..Bach answers..Jason is grooving...Scott is smiling...

Then Biofag says and I quote.."that shit sounds like old fart music"..

Now I don't know how much of this shit is staged and they WANT the "drama" for ratings..that's what makes this shit popular in the first place..

So, why Bio-dick..he comes in starts shit..looks like he decks Bach...I'll see in the next Episode..and then looks like he bails..like that's some big loss..

So, yeah I got pulled into my first reality BS show and that's what I saw..

I knew heads were going to butt..but I thought it would be instanly be between Ted and Sebastian..I think Biodick was thrown in the mix to stir the pot so to speak..
