Damn, I should have posted about my new pipe here. The problem is, I'm on a mission. I got home about 90 mins ago, and I have already consumed all of the beer in my house. I have a small piece of hash, which I am about to smoke, but then I will be S.O.L. I need some pot for fucks sake. I have 3 main sources. One of them is a friend of my wife, and her last crop got fucked up somehow, so that's a dead end. My drummer could hook me up, but he "accidentally" hit his ex in the face and got thrown in jail. They let him out on the condition that he stays at his parents' house until court, and I don't know the phone number. My buddy Herb (yes, that's his real name) could hook me up, but he's a 15 minute drive, and I have had too much beer to do that. Basically I'm fucked, and it's my own damn fault for not planning ahead. I'm one sad motherfucker right now.

Call Herb and ask him if he'll deliver for a little more? Or ask him if he wants to come over for a beer, and "hey, while you're here"... All he can do is say no, doesn't hurt to ask.

My cold broke!!!

I went to bed about 830PM last night, feeling like hell..been sick as a dog for four days..what I thought was a runny nose..was a major nose bleed at 3:00AM..when I looked in the miror ..I looked like a cover of a cannibal corpse album ...blood all over..

My nose stopped bleeding, but ..I had to take a shower, wash my clothes and I started to clean some blood off the sheets..but the wife started to wake up..I got most of it tho..

wow that was some cold..I'm just sneezing and coughing now..but I "feel" much better..

that was fucked up..that never happened to me before..

Speaking of "pipe"..I broke my favorite stone one a couple weeks ago when I dropped it on the kitchen floor..I went out and bought a metal one..I like the stone one better..these get fuggin' hot..

The new Ampeg stuff is overpriced pieces of shit, the higher end stuff anyway..here's my experience!!

I bought the all tube SVT II Stack when it came out..w a 1-15" and a 4-10 cabs..

There is a brite switch on that head, as soon as I turned it on..the 4 10s would literally light up..like a light bulb..with a very high pitched squeal..like a dog whistele..

Of course I retuned it..and got another same set up..took it home..and it did it again..

The dude didn't belive it..so I showed him..well he knew I wasn't lying..

I also bought the Ampeg VL 100 Lee Jackson head (Zakk endorsed them)..I bought two of them..one wEL34s..one came with 6550s..the one with the EL34s started on fire..melting the tucked in tolex behind the back grill and haly of the plastic vent on top was melted and warped..it stunk up my room for a year..which I thought smeeled pretty good really..

I had two old mid 70's SVTs w/ the 8 10 cab..that was NICE..but heavy as hell to move..obniously...sounded killer tho..

but my favorite bass amps of all are the Carvin stacks..they rule..I playes a lot of shows without an issue and I got compliment like crazy with that amp..

The openers always used it..some of them went out immediately and bought them..

Carvin should pay me..because I sold so many of their amps around here..prolly six stacks that I know of..

I've played some decent SS Ampegs that were cool since..I would never buy anything "Tube" from Ampeg again..no way!!

Bill, 100% Agree. My back thanks me now everytime I plug into my Carvins! The old SVT's were great, but felt like the strap was going to pull out of the top of the head everytime I lifted it. The new stuff is overpriced and no way as good as the old ones.

Do you have the Red eye..or the older Pro series..either or they are both awesome set ups..had 'em both..love 'em both equally..

I haven't tried their newer set up...I would love to..it cost a little more than the Red eye..which I can't see why would you want more..but I would love to know..

With a red eye 1/18 and 4/10..there isn't a venue in the world you can't play and truly whoop ass..a true powerhouse..a monster of a rig!!!

I like a very piano like tone for bass..the punchier and cleaner the better..no farting allowed!!

Hey Bill, sorry you've been sick. I'm glad you feel better though.

Big nosebleeds can indicate major high blood pressure. Might be a good idea to see a doc, and do what he tells you. My heart problem is likely due to having untreated high blood pressure over a period of years. I got sick a lot but had no medical insurance so I'd just lay down til I felt better. Meanwhile my heart was getting worse and worse. Just keep it at 120/80 if you can, bro!

Nahhh, I got this a couple times when I had a BAD cold..my mom used to say..Oh "you're cold broke"..

I went to bed feeling horrible..I got up to pee and noticed that what I thought was a runny nose was blood..

I feel MUCHO better..so I guess my cold broke..but it never broke like this..it's cool now..I
m sneezing now, which I wasn't before..and I don't have the body aches and fever I had the last four days..so I think I'm cool..

I just had to hurry and wash everything before it staind for life...my pillow was soaked..it's all good now..like it never happened..

I'm tired from being up since 3AM tho..so I'm going to go lay down and chill to some metal..

I bought a bunch of new metal..

There is a riff on the new Eidolon cd that is very similar to "father felon"..kinda weird..
