Talked to Bill, the surgery went very well, Vin is home and feeling good. Bill said it looks like the docs did nice job putting him back together, guess they showed before and after xrays I think he said.

Having stayed at the hospital for a couple days, Bill is happy to be at home and with bong. Maybe he'll pop in soon and say hey.

He said thanks for the nice wishes from everyone. Much appreciated.

Last I heard all was well and Vinnie was waitng for all the major swelling to go down to get a permenant cast put on.

Bill was staying up at night keeping an eye on him to make sure he was keeping the arm above heart level so it didn't swell up and turn purple like it was I guess. Other than that, all seemed well.

Surprised Bill hasn't been on.

Thanks for the good news, John! a lot of good vibes are coming the Zurlos' way from this thread! And Vinny is a strong young man, I know he'll do fine. Poor Bill and Val must be exhausted with worry though! I hope they're finaly getting to rest and relax now that things are looking good.

Fuck , man that was a BLUR..

two weeks passed by in a complete blur..

Vinny went back to school today..he missed over a week and has been catching up on his schoolwork.

Vinny took his injury better trhat 99.9% of dudes with tattoos with much minor injuries..NO SHIT..

His forearm was broken in half..both bones..he has two rods from both groth plates from elbow to wrist..The doctor did an AWESOME job!!! [img]/images/graemlins/notworthy.gif[/img]

I've been tending to Vinny..I spent four nights with him in the hospital..sleeping on a recliner..with the help of mucho xanaxia. [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

I been assisting him taking his baths and getting dressed..he's doing MUCH better..and once he gets his hard cast on this coming Monday...we'll all be much more at ease.

Me, I'm a fucking wreck...I took this pretty bad..but he's fine..he took this much better than I did ..that's for sure..I'm just a wreck man! [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

I seen it happen..him and his buddy was sparing and both fell while clenched together..Vinny instinctively put out his arm to break his fall..but the impact was too much for his arm to handle..so it just snapped like a tree branch...CRACK...really! [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/eek.gif[/img]

I instantly KNEW it was broke..there was no doubt in my mind..only one word came out of my mouth...it had to be the loudest and longest "FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK!!!!!"..in history!

Well, he is making up on his homework..he's catching up..I have to help him study for some missed tests..so I'll be a bit busy..

then once this is over I'll have all the time in the world again..Ty (my singer) came over last night and I showed him some new riffs I've been working on..he flipped for them..well because they are awesome..what, well why write a gay riff...gay riffs are gay M'kay...I only write the most awesomeness of riffage..M'kay! yeah, 4000 post and still going strong...just imagine how big this baby would have been if the other two old threads were combined..wow!
