quick sidenote:
if i wanted to get into george lynch's stuff, which CDs should i buy? i'm looking for the best of the best lynch has ever done, regarding playing, tone, songwriting, and singing (ok, that's not lynch, but it's still important to me).
ah yeah, and what 80s hardrock/metal band should i also look at based on the aspects mentioned above? i'm thinking something (roughly) along the lines of yngwie's odyssey album...with better vox and songwriting, though
i just feel it's time for a musical change...other than yngwie, nevermore, and savatage, i haven't listened to anything but thrash and death metal for the past 12 months
thanks
