All my spare time is Bed Of Nails..if a band like Ripper's or Mushroomhead needed a player..I'd do it..and I don't like Mushroomhead..but they would be a stepping stone for me..it's all about me man..

Ty, John & Bill in a Savatage tribute band?

Ty wouldn't be into that at all..actually neither would I..I like to listen to the "tage on occasion..but I burnt out on that stuff years ago..I listened to it so much..second to VH.

In fact Ron does a very decent job with the Savatage material, I give him that..and told him so..and John's bassist does a fine job with that stuff as well..they don't need me or Ty for that..they do very well on their own...prolly better than Ty and I could..

OK Gary and Jeri..I will be starting on this tonight..now this is not a "complete" list of all things meta ..it's just what I strongly feel should be in your collection..from classics to modern..all styles of metal

I will NOT name bands that are very "established''..because you'd prolly already know it or own it ..and what's the purpose of that..

This will be Bill Z Bub's MUST HAVES!!!!

Don't expect to see bands like anthrax, accept, dimmu borgir, cradle of filth, metallica, megadeth, cannibal corpse, slayer, morbid...not that those are not great bands..it's just that those are "standards" to many..

My loyaty to Nevermore and Arch Enemy will be included ..because they been with me well before they were popular..

I would love to play with John in a cover band if he found a "worthy" singer, if not Ty...vocals are as important as the music man..I wouldn't have done the VH trib without someone who was TRULY worthy..worthy enough to actually get a audition for VH..aint that a bitch..

ABSTRAKT ALGEBRA - s/t..this one-off collaboration with vocal god Mats Levin and Guitar Wiz Mike Wead..this came out in 1995..I listen to this often to this day..for fans of the "heavy" side of Jorn Lande, Candlemass, Hexenhouse,Momento Mori and the guitar playing of latter day King Diamond and Merciful Fate (Wead is in both KD&MF)..KILLER!

ANNIHILATOR - Jeff Waters has been doing this shit for some time and has dropped the ball many times in his efforts..but his first two "Alice In Hell" ,and "Never Neverland" and his pissed off solo release when he fired his entire band "King Of The Kill" are always refreshing to my ears..it never gets old..this shit is fucking amazing!

APOCRYPHA - "The Forgotten Scroll" ..Tony Fredianelli just whoops total ass on this..This is their first of three releases. This is a cult classic amoung shredders that was released in 1987, I actually burned a copy of this for Glen Drover, he was very pleased to get it. their 2nd and 3rd releases "The eyes of Time" and "Area 54" are great too..but TFS is a true classic..this went on Ebay for well over 200 bucks until they re-issued it...for fans of Cacophony, Jason Becker and Marty Freidman.
