I'm waiting for Sebastian Bach's new album, I think a lot of you metal fans would love it, just check out the guys who are playing on that album: Metal Mike Chlasciak, Steve DiGiorgio, Bobby Jarzombek and Johnny Chromatic.

i have the first demons&wizards record, haven't bought the second one though. in fact, that album is the very reason why i decided to pick up some BG stuff - despite of that horrible impression mirror, mirror has left in me
it's a bit calm musically....it starts off really awesome with heaven denies, but from then on it's rather meh sounding imho. overall way less heavy than either BG or IE.
i have two KsE records....alive or just breathing and the s/t one...i HATE that shit. unfortunately i bought both records at the same time, so i didn't know what kinda shit i was spending my money on. i remember thinking "if that's metalcore, i can see why most people except for trendy kiddies bash that stuff"....but in my humble opinion, neither LoG nor unearth have anything in common with KsE. except for the vox maybe, but even those are better.
endrik, that sounds like a killer lineup! what kind of music is bach doing nowadays? heavier, true, or still 80s hair metal?
bach...i remember listening to skid row the first time. my first exposure with hair metalnot too bad actually

actually Baz made only one hair metal record with Skid Row, it was the first one, the second one was way heavier altho it has some glam elements but it was due the sleazy blues swagger that the late 80's hairbands were using. Baz' had the best voice at the time, I've never heard anyone singing with so much balls as he did on songs like "The Threat" and "Monkey Buisness". They had a really agressive punk attitude. The self titeled song "Slave To The Grind" was acutally like some thrash metal tune. The third album "Subhuman Race" was really brutal, it's actually a lot more like Pantera than hair metal. I've heard his new solo album will be also pretty heavy, they are mixing the album right now."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

ever hear "breakin' Down"-it's my favorite Skid tune. It's a good listen, i think it's on some movie soundtrack. Ironically it's a soft tune for the most part.
I was just playing "the threat" that's one of my favorite skid tunes as well.
They just got heavier with each album, used to go see them before sebastian was even in the band. He was the missing piece and then it was sky's the limit for them for a while. I threw M80's out the window of hotel17 in NYC with him at like 6 in the morning after a bender at the cat club about 127 years ago-lolNot helping the situation since 1965!

dude, yeah I know that song, good stuff
btw. The Threat is one of the most demanding songs ever for a vocalists. That crazy thing that Baz does in the end of that song is out of this planet....10 seconds of madness, I think there are only a handfull of singers (non-opera) who can do that shit."There is nothing more fearful than imagination without taste" - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

My favorite SB moment is at the end of "Eilleen"..when he screams the lyrics "I know , what she knows"to that kick ass groove..he fucking wails on that..and "breakin' down" was a soundtrack to a movie..during the ending credits..I forgot what movie tho.."Bill, Smoke a Bowl and Crank Van Halen I, Life is better when I do that"
