Doing just great, busy as fuck but that's good. Workin' lots of new tunes and will be playing out here soon. Yay! There's a local rockin' joint that looks like good times.
House is great, the Keith and the bambinos are great. life is gooood. Scored me a '03 JEEP Wrangler Sahara edition so I can get around in these mountains, now I just need to find some good mud trails. wheeee!

btw... any of you play those Carvin acoustic amps? The AG100D. I know their reputation for bass amps. I need a good portable acoustic amp, club worthy, clean and rich, not too bright.

As far as the Carvin amp, I've not played that one, but I've yet to hear a bad Carvin amp. Yeah, I know, not much help, but I really have nothing to add...OK, I'll stop now.

Nice thing about Carvin is their return policy so I'm not worried. And you're right, their reputation precedes them. I've pretty much decided on that one, just curious if anyone had actually played through one. I've read a few reviews and they're conisistently good.

I haven't played through the AG100 but my VM100's clean channel makes for a pretty nice acoustic amp, it has separate prescence controls for the clean and drive channels and my electric almost sounds acoustic at a high prescence setting and backed off on the guitar volume. Of course that's tubes, but as you said the return policy makes it pretty painless. I think you can sing through it in a pinch as well, it has a mic input channel IIRC.

It would probably make a decent low-power keyboard amp as well, with say a 2-way 1x15 PA cabinet as an extension cab. I THINK it has an external speaker out, in fact I recall they make an extension cab specifically for that amp.

I finally found Run Ronnie Run on dvd. Been looking for ages, and only dropped into my local store to say hi to a friend who runs the place. $5!! woohoo!

Now that's some idiotically funny stuff. Louis de Funes is hilarious.
And well I love French movies.

I'm also trying to find Our Gang/Little Rascals stuff on DVD.
