Been busy with family shit at home. Played my Uberschall with Vinny (drums) today. I broke out my Floyd Rose classic strat. It has a pretty bright tone which makes pinch harms a sinch. I "ping" more than Zakk does whenever I play that geetar..

Gary, you can dial in a pretty good tone with that 900. Try slammin' the front..John used the boost on his wireless. Put your favorite delay in the loop. You may even want to explore EQs and a BBE to fatten up the low end...I use a BBE 422 and it works well.

I've been listening to the new Exodus lately..my wife says I'd fit in that camp. I guess I could see that. I think they used 5150s to record.

I tried a 5150III last week. It seemed to be easy to dial in..very basic layout. Even tho the gain was 100% usable..I still prefer the original 5150s. It sounded more like a Marshall because it has more mids. It sounds much closer to his "classic" tone..but not as good as a Marshall..duh!

I've been reading about the Salem witch trials..Its a very detailed journal of events from beginning to end..it's over 500 pages. Interesting, but a little boring. My wife got it from the libary for me..so that was cool.

You know what was even cooler?..she blew me while I was reading it. Tis the season!!!

Thanks Bill. I'll have to try that. I was planning on goosing the front end with a Bad Monkey. I'll definitely try the delay in the loop, and maybe some eq too.

The new Exodus is some really good stuff. There's a lot of new stuff I want to check out right now. Not enough capital though, between buying amps, xmas, consuming copious amounts of alcohol, etc...

That bad monkey should kick it in this ass. The delay in the loop is a must..it gives that warm, liquid feel that I like for shreddin'. Just a hint of delay set to about 366 ms..that's where I have it.

So my five year old is a fukkin lunatic. Today is a snow day so dude is home with me taking it easy, playing with his cars and watching some tube. I catch him walking around with a little red Santa hat, from a decoration, and I ask him, "Evan, what are you doing with that?"

So, no big deal, he's having fun right? Well about fifteen minutes ago I have to take a dump and as I walk in the main bathroom I catch wind of this horrible reek. Obviously, dude didn't bother flushing. So I lift the lid and what do I see? HOWDY HO!!! Evan made himself a Mr Hanky!! The little freak put the santa hat on his turd and used two pieces of popping corn for the eyes. :ROTF: I almost threw up from laughing.

He still won't tell me how he got the hat and corn on there.

yea, I caught the Tigers came on the weekend. Love watching old Darryl McDonald play. Do you mean Martin Müürsepp? Have you heard that Melbourne have just released him? He's been struggling with an ankle injury most of the season which has limited his effectiveness.

yep Müürsepp, he used to be one of the best in Europe... shit loads of awards to prove it too... but yeah he has had problems with legs over the time and he is not a kid anymore so these problems are getting more serious, and he is kinda tired too lately though... but always delivers in the important games... there's rumours he that he is gonna retire, who knows, kinda sad to see him not getting his last great season, he is such a cool dude and only 33 years old, I hope he takes some time off and makes a great comeback and good last season
