Sis How ya doin'..great I hope. We just came by your family's pic in our photo album last night. Vinny was lookin' through it for pics to bring to school...for some project.
My dear JCF brothers and sisters. Things are sucking pretty hardcore in my camp..more than words can say. My wife has a disease that runs in her family "NF" for short..it's has caused her much grief since she was born and now it's causing us grief once again. We were advised by her surgeon who saved her life in '97 by installing 2 steel rods in her back along with her rib as a fusion. Well this "NF" has turned her spined to mush..the doctor don't understand how she's able to get around as well as she does..apparently this won't be for long. He predicts that she will be in a wheel chair within 3-5 years at best. The spinal fluid has eroded the bone in her spine near paper thin..she's as fragile as an egg..literally.
We are taking steps to increase her bone density.. but that may just buy a little more time if any.
So I haven't been in the mood for conversation..I don't want to talk about it, amps, guitars, bands or life in general at this time. I'm about as pissed off as any human could possibly be. I lived vicariously through my wife and son for the last few years.
I really care for my freinds here..more than you know. But nothing brings me joy these days. This shit has took it's toll on me..and I'm damaged goods to begin with. That doesn't matter, I breathe for them..and only them.
So, that's it..I'm being as upbeat as possible to make my wife and son as happy as could be. I don't want to make matters worse..it would defeat my purpose.

Man... I'm sorry to hear this BillZ. I'm thinking about ya, your whole family, but especially Val. Don't let yourself spiral down into the dark, Bill. Your fam needs you, you know that though. You're a fantastic father and husband. I know you care for them more than anything.

Bill, I'm really saddened to hear this news about Val. You are in my thoughts and I am rooting for y'all. Medical science is always making advances, and the latest stem cell news sounds like it could apply to just about everything in the human body. Maybe research that and look for help for her. Maybe the same direction could help you with your vertebraes which I know is the key to your own pain.
You're a strong man Bill, but I know this is a real ballbreaker. Take a deep breath and regroup, but you can deal with this if anybody can. Don't give up, Val and especially Vinny need you. Hell, WE need you! But you know too that we are here for you in any way we can be. If you need solitude, take it. But if you need support, take that, from us, too.
You know I love you, Val and Vinny, even though we've never met. And you know that there are a LOT of people here who love y'all too. Whatever you believe, believe that the power of that love is real, and can help. You've got lots of positive energy coming your way.
