You have to do a lot of mushrooms to get a profound high. When I was a kid we'd drive out to the country the morning after a summer rain and hop a farmer's fence to pick mushrooms. We'd bring back a big trashbag full and boil them down into a thick tea, then make Baccardi 151 daiquiris with a couple good shots of mushroom tea in them. Can't taste the 'shrooms, get a good kick from the 151 and
you're off to Blacklight Land!

Hell, it was a cheap way to go; basically just the daiquiri fixings and gas, and gas was like 65 cents a gallon at that point! Plus once in awhile you'd get the adrenaline surge when the farmer came out and shot off a load of rocksalt your way!

How do you know what shrooms to eat ..I have a crapload of shrooms in my damp backyard ...I have one mushroom growing on a tree stump that's about six inches in diameter ...that shroom would really fill me up ...should I eat that bastage ...I think Pico peed on it though....

what about in that old clint eastwood movie when he's taken in by all those girls in a boarding school during the civil war and they poison him with the shrooms ...things were going pretty good for him until those damn shrooms...

do you know which movie I'm talking about..

They are usually growing out of cowshit, though they also grow in horseshit. They are pretty big, 4"-6" diameter, and the color on top is like a browned dinner roll. When you break the mushroom in half the edges turn purple on the underside. That is a psilocybin mushroom.

They spring up in pastures on the morning after a summer rain; I think the temp has to be above 72 F for them to come up.

I don't know the Clint movie you mean, but the ones I know are poisonous are Amanitas; they are red with light polka dots and look like they'd be poison. It's said you can trip on them too but like blowfish, too much will kill you. I never saw one of those in person.

I don't know if eating the ones in your yard is wise though; I always got them out of cow pastures, growing right up out of cowpies.

Bill, poop is used to grow everything. In the plumbing business we just think of poop as smelly mud! And the smell is... money! Good thing most people are squeamish about it, from a plumber's point of view.

My late bro took me on a sewer stoppage call when I was 17. An apartment building's main sewer was clogged. We pulled the cleanout access cap and **** geysered out like a spring
of ****. So we snake the drain and clear the stoppage, and my bro writes up the bill. It was OT rate because it was 9:00 at night.

The apt. manager starts b!tching about the price; why's it so high. My brother reached down, picked a turd off of the ground next to the cleanout cap, squeezed the **** between his fingers and said, "Because you don't want to deal with this, so you need to pay me to!"
The manager went ahead and signed the invoice without another word, and hurried inside!

Then we went to eat dinner! I got the "wash your hands so you don't get hepatitis" lecture on the way! He got the most lessons possible out of that one squished turd!

I love mushrooms, but I prefer the ones found in the market. I've seen those red ones with polka-dots, but was too afraid to even touch 'em. Thought it might be like a poisonous frog or something. Oh wait, you lick those.

I don't know what would be worse, if they were keeping them to get high on venom, or if they were pets. Here in the States they'd probably be used to off inmates from different gangs.My heart medicine, digoxin, is a synthetic analog of snake venom. It slows down the heartbeat, and the therapeutic dose is actually 60% of the toxic dose. That's why it has -oxin in the name, to denote that it'stoxic if you take more than your prescribed dose. Pretty wild to think that 2 pills is an overdose!
