Well I helped out an old friend Juan from Attaxe to lay down a bass part to an old song called...Metal Messiah..

It took me one night to learn with Tall Paul and less than 30 minutes to lay down in the studio...because I did my homework the night before..things went well and easy for me..

So...Metal Joe sends me an MP3 of the song....and I IMMEDIATELY notice that "my"...or what I thought was my bass part was NOT flattering in the least...it was very sloppy and very burried in the mix....after another listen...I thought that the bass was just barely in the mix ..this was the reason why I couldn't hear any of my fills and shit..

Well , I guess the "producer" didn't like the way the bass part sounded...so he attempted to punch in on a part or two...but he couldn't get it to sync up properly..so he ended up playing the whole bassline himself...and it sounds like it..like complete shit!!!!

I'm pissed...I would have went back and fixed what they "thought" was wrong...but decided to replace my part with a much lower standard of performance....well I am a bassist ...an awesome bassist for over 25 years...so I know these things!

so I will NEVER play for another person's project again...it was nothing but my precious time , and talent ..purley wasted..

if Attaxe ever needed a live player ..I would have done it..

the key words here is "would have"...
