I am happy to be watching the Weather Channel and seeing a hurricane that's NOT going to hit my area. So far 3 out of the 5 named storms this season have affected my area. Actually only one had any substantial effects right here, but each time you prepare to be bitchslapped it's a stressful situation. The old "Oh shit, we're gonna DIE!!!" adrenalin surge takes it out of you when it's over with.

Uuuuughhhh, I got called in to work at 4am yesterday and worked til 1am this morning. Got home at 1:30 and fell asleep at 2. I was up again at 5 to go to work this morning. I'm beat.
