    they're not fun days are they jack? and the 3 days after being sick is no bargain either, just curled uplike a codfish. it's unbelievable what you go through to get off of it cold turkey, and yet i still got rehooked time and again as you slowly drop the memory of how you wanted to jump out of your skin when you were kicking it. human behavior, especially mine, cannot be classified.

          If it get to where I can't playing or starts to really affect my playing...even more...then I'll risk the surgery..

          Risk... because my mom had a herniates discs in her lower lumbar and was having aches in her her legs...

          well the doc severed the main nerve to her right foot...now it is dead.. [img]/images/graemlins/eyes.gif[/img]

          I don't want THAT to happen to my hand...my guitars , amps , music , heart is at risk!

              Lucky me, utilities are included in the rent. Other than phone and Interweb that is... I luxuriate in the AC too, it's 68 in here, outside it's 93 with a heat index of 105!
              You can have that fun in the sun crap, at least til the middle of October when it cools off decently.

The humidity is adding about 15 degrees to the temps this week, which are in the low to mid 90s already! But free AC here, so I stay in.Bill! I recall the same problem communicating when I lived in California, especially at the DMV! God I hated that place! That's when I discovered AAA - not for auto towing, but because I could do my DMV business at the AAAoffice. What took an hour and was a pain in the ass at DMV took 5 minutes at AAA and you were treated with respect. That was worth $40 a year, I tell ya!

                            Yeah, I miss that SoCal near the beach weather. My last 14 years there were in Santa Monica, 4 blocks from the beach at Pico Blvd.
                            The weather and the clean seabreeze were beautiful, man! The climate within 5 miles of the ocean is really wonderful, especially within one mile. Kinda sucks if you're more than 10 miles inland though; I could be in Santa Monica in July and it'd be 70 at 2PM, then drive 10 miles into the Valley and it was 95 with brown air and no breeze at all. I would never live in the inland valleys there if I could help it. That ocean breeze keeps the smog away and you can forget there are 16 million other people in the megalopolis!
