some great points on that site, and they say you have the freedom to not agree with everything what we say. But this satan thing is definetly not for me, it doesn't suit with my character. I don't dig those symbols and beasts and all that darkness stuff. That is a great one isn't it Emmy ...like I said Tony LeVay had some very logical , valid points..
Yes, the way he dressed was very "silly" IMO..hard to take seriously looking like that...
But he said all religions needs symbolism..and ritualstic celebrations..I kinda agree with that...but not to the point in looking silly to get attention..it was expected of him..so he oblidged people by doing that..
I can get his same exact point across wearing a T Shirt , Pajamas or sport Jacket..
Jesus got his point across by wearing rags..

The Church of Satan is like music or anything else to me..I didn't copy it..or cover it..I took what I liked about it..and made it my own..it did spark alot of my own ideals and morals..and views of humans in general..
and it did answer alot of myseries that are never answered about Christianity..it filled in those blanks..Christians rely on "Faith" to compensate for those blanks ..without question , or doubt and just obey...period.
I can't devote my life , love and devotion to anything I don't know everything about..or nothing about.
as funny as this sounds..The Pope Himself , the closest man to God here on Earth knows NOTHING about the diety he devoted his entire life to..I mean they never went out for lunch or a beer...and never talked about a damn thing now have they..
God never once , made an appearance and say ...hey guys , here I am..ain't I awesome.
God's voice was never heard..or any prayer confirmed answered...and if your prayer was answered..it was going to happen anyway...prayer or no prayer.
If he did , and his exitence was known..there wouldn't be 2000 versions of god ..and we would ALL be on the same page.

Anton LeVay founded the Church of Satan in 1969. It has nothing to do with "worship" of satan. It promotes a me first lifestyle which contradicts the teachings of the Bible. Those freaks who have rituals, sacrifices, etc. have nothing to do with church of satan...they more closely resemble old pagan religions.
