Emmy whatta U doin'..

Val wanted some last night but my son Vinny willfully stayed up all night to clock block me..

I just went to bed..the hell with it..

We tried to get into the Halloween spirt ..which I just don't seem to have this year..which sucks because it is one of my favorite times of the year.

Rattle..Lord Worm..yes..he must be very nice gentleman..just based on your merits.

I had most of Cryptosy / Suffocation / Nile stuff ..I had to "make room" for more metal so the earlier stuff went bye bye..Now I only have the last two Cryptopsy / Suffocation cds..

I have the first three Nile..I liked Nile most of all three bands.

I thought they were incredible ...until John and I went to see them last year. I don't know if they had an "off" night..they were in good spirits so it didn't appear to me...but they just did not capture what I always like about them..I was pretty bummed about that..I didb't even buy there last one...and havn't put them on since..which is big deal coinsidering that massive amopunts of metal I have..I try to always to catch up with everything coming out..it's impossible..but I try!!

Buzz..You silly ass..

Rupe ..forgive "E" ..for he not know what I do..

Rich..I love ya man..

I can understand parents not wanting their kids to have candy for health reasons, but when it is a religious issue, that's what is ridiculous.

[/ QUOTE ]

No, it's not ridiculous. In fact, I think it is commendable. It would be very easy for parents to just compromise their beliefs on Halloween and go with the flow. By standing by their beliefs and not participating, I think they are demonstrating that their values mean something to them and that they will not bend for popular culture.

Whether you or I agree with their beliefs is another matter.

People's religions are part of their belief and value system. There are many things that religious folks allow their children to do that goes against my beleif and value system.

Bottom line for me is that your statement is demonstrating an intolerance for someone's beliefs - that is the ultimate irony to me because religious groups tend to be filled with the most intolerant people I know of.

[/ QUOTE ]

I stand by what I said. It is ridiculous. Having an opinion is not intolerant Tim, so don't compare me to religious freaks who try to force their beliefs on others and tell everyone else how wrong they are. While I was going out with her, I never once told her parents what I thought of their ideas and beliefs, in fact I never brought it up at all, that was until her mother gave me a video tape one day. It was a video supposedly explaining how evolution was orchestrated by God. The hilarious thing is, these are the same people who vehemently denied evolution 5 years ago, and were now saying "oh yes, God did that". Anyway, I handed the video back to her and said no thanks, I'm not the least bit interested in that.

You find it comendable that they stick to their beliefs? What is commendable about being closed-minded and delusional? Like I said, it is ridiculous, and if you don't like my opinion Tim, then simply stop reading my posts.

Let me interfere here..

Beliefs ..personal beliefs are subjective. Usualy , most often than not a child will just learn and believe what is told to him/her. As kids we look up to adults and take their word for it..who are kids to question authority or adults.

These beliefs , whatever they may be is engraved into them from birth..

This is NOT a bad thing..Religion is supposed to be embraced and cherished ..to guide people to be the best people they can be..be it Christian , Baptist , Lutheran..whatever..

BUT ..heres the deal..No man is created equal. This is a fact of life. We are all not on the same level. Shit always floats to its own level..no matter what their beliefs...

Buzz said it best IMO .. 2000 years of conditioning.

Christianity is the biggest religion in the world..and like anything else..that is organized and powerful..there is politics , corruption , hypocrisy as well as conformity...conformity being most important..and recruiting is the Christian agenda..always was..I know this..it is their "duty" to spread the word of God..and keep the sabbath..not to force it down throats..even to most do.

It started from the birth of Christ..was he born on Christmas December 25th..in the year ZERO..you know BC/AD..???

NO he was not..Paganaism was HUGE and they celebrate the winter solstice which I believe starts on December 20th..so right off the bat ..the political power machine is put into play..because it was MUCH easier recruiting Pagans to Christianity ..which happened...This is a FACT!

Very cunning and manipulating IMO..but it worked like a Charm..what person doesn't think Christ wasn't born on Christmas..Christians..stole..the pagan holiday..

Its all about conformity really..those who are not within' "the norm"..are looked at as freaks..such as Emmy , John , Zeegs and Myself and others that that "think out of the box"..which I believe is a great attribute and where genuis comes in..sometimes lunacy..people thought all the great inventers / authors were nuts..but they were brilliant as the light of Lucifer himself...IMO

This is where your hostility is provoked Zeegs..I know this for fact. It is "frustrating" ..but this is not Tim's point or agenda..or intention.

Tim was talking about individual moral family Values..and standing by those values without being wishy washy or hypocritical..which is commendable.

So "I" know where both of you are coming from here..

Being who and what I am ..I acknowledge and speak without hestitation of my percieved "truth"..that is a double edged sword..I mean look man..there is people here that absolutely "loathe" me for it , including higher ups , I know some would wish I'd disappear..for my "beliefs"..Tim also touched on that as being "intolerant"..that is true..give him that much.

But , I'm doing "something" right..I have the largest thread on the JCF since I been here..and none of my threads were initiated by me ..but by my friends here ....Rich was first..he's a Christian. I would assume Rich Hates "Satan"..but does NOT hate Me.

Is it my blatant outspoken "I don't give a shit" personality that has established credibility as a good human by sharing my life experiences thru logic and my sense of wit..YES , I think so!

My knowledge of Metal..or Gear..maybe.

I know and feel your frustration and anger Zeegs..for the obvious reasons..but your a great guy man..I can read people like a book..I'm NOT that book smart..but I base my life on simple logic..the more simple the better..man is NOT that complex..we "think" too much..all you have to do is look at things at face value..the answers are right in your face sometimes..but we always ignore the obvious...man always wants .."More"..we are arrogant..that is where the attitudes and conflicts come in..

Bottom line is I treat others how they treat me..any other way is "masochistic" in my view..but that is MY view...it works for me..this way I am NEVER a sucker and can NEVER be had..many have tried..but I see thru them....this is is main reason I can not be "Christ-Like"...look what happened to him for being passive and "loving"...he was a victim by man...did he bring it on himself ..yes...it was his job..so they say.

Both you and Tim have great human qualities even tho your theories and beliefs may differ..you guys are both good people in my book..and you both made valid points ..if you look at the big picture.

If you wern't I'd wouldn't talk to you or just call you an asshole , and prefer not to be bothered ...I beg assholes not to bother me..I plead with them..Please don't bother me Mr.Asshole..!!!

This isn't the case here..

You guys are both the goods in my book..both individual and different as can be..but you share one thing in common..you're BOTH my freinds..and I don't make freinds with or play well with assholes..

Respectfully ,

I hope that doesn't happen, Bill. BTW, I don't hate Satan, we're supposed to love our enemies. I can't always say I do that, but Satan I would say I pity rather than hate. As for everyone you named as freaks, I think ALL of us here at JCF are freaks by comparison to the "norm", whatever that is at the moment. That's why we'rehere. Zeegs, don't you think judging all Christians by your limited viewpoint of them is a bit rash? Like I said, they put up when the shit hit the fan here. When a natural disaster destroys your home, then you find out who the good people really are. The rest is just talk, that is to say, bullshit.

• Re: Bill\'s Place

It's funny ya know...I have more in common with none Christians than I do Christians.

I have always believed in Christ...Never was I told to either and my parents actually are both very different than me. My Mom has the “I believe in what I would like to believe”...Ya know, it would be cool to have little fairies floating around but that’s just fantasy...No logic.

My Dad is now big in the Scientology church. I don’t talk to him much...I think he avoids me (And his granddaughters subsequently) just because he knows I am firm in my thoughts and think his Scientology is nothing but, Ron Hubberd proving that the two things man embraces most is Science and religion...So what two better things to combine into a super religion JMHO He was quoted as saying..."Why make a few dollars writing science fiction when you can make millions making a religion?"

Anyhow I like that the Scientologist use more logic in their thinking but...

I don’t go to church.

I don’t shove my beliefs down people’s throats.

I believe so called Christians have done more to hurt what Christ is about than any other people.

I think it’s amazing that Christ said not to put any man at the head of his church and only a few hundred years later they elect a Pope by the order of the Roma Emperor and the Catholic Church becomes the biggest “so called” representation of Christianity…He did say it would happen though…So how did it…it’s right there in their own bible?

I like people for who they are…Not if are Christian or not.

My biggest peeve with Christians is that they judge people harder than anyone…Then they don’t judge when they should…Most of em got it mixed up.

You don’t need to bother deciding if someone is going to hell or heaven…They do that all the time…I fucking hate it when a Christian tells anyone that they need to do this or that…You know they are implying that you going to parish. Who are they? So they can see into my heart? How can you knock on a strangers door and start telling them how they should live?

Then you talk to a Christian and say you don’t trust someone because they give you a bad vibe and then they are “Well I don’t judge”…Your not judging their fate for fuck sake! You are just going with instinct…That gut feeling…its survival. If see someone that I feel is threatening I will asses the situation an act accordingly. An example I have discussed recently…Well the pastor at this church has done a lot of questionable things let’s say. Said some stuff that have caused some people to scratch their heads but…They don’t judge cuz God is looking after it! Fuck off! You have fact about someone you are not judging you are analyzing the situation. If it’s not good than do something about it.

I also hate when people say “Let go, let God” I’m sorry but that’s like say to my kids…Oh, your Dad will take care of everything in your life. Just ask…Fuck off! Dads definately NOT going to help you if thats your plan!

I see God this way…I send my girls to school every day. I want to walk them there by the hand but, I know I should not shelter them too much or they will grow up needing to be held by the hand...(Like some religious people I know)

So I tell them all the things I feel they need to know (I command them)…Like…Look both ways before crossing the street (Sorry but I don’t want then to get squashed and Justines just so spinny ) and don’t talk to strangers. The basics. I tell them to treat others the way you would want to be treated. They had a school mate who killed herself last year. The girl had been ridiculed all her life for being over weight. My daughters where two of the very few who hung out with her and stuck up for her. This is how I hope to raise them. I just wish the other kid’s parents had done the same. So I give the all my advise (Rules) for their protection…Their best interests at heart. Not to control them or have little puppets. I know they may not follow my rules and I know they will fuck up from time to time. I will be there for them when they do. It’s called free will…But you can bet that they will be in shit by me when they do fuck up! I definitely want them to judge people…Like the shady looking old man with the trench coat…Stay the fuck away from the dude! It’s not judging his fate…Two different things.

I hate it when people blame God for bad shit that happens…Sorry but, When a child gets run over by a car it’s the fault of Man…Not God. When a child gets raped it’s the fault of Man…Not God. Man is a fucked up creature. And it’s always been that way.

I have friends who I know are honest with them selves and that you know would have your back…Not what they believe in…Who knows where our heads will be at in the future anyhow…

Peace!

well anywhoo , look like I'm not going anywhere..

I had a talk with Kevin , I was wrong about a few things and I thinks he may think of me differently now..now that we actualy "spoke" ..a voice really make to a name..really puts a human perspective on it..

we are real people you know..I think somtimes ..we tend to forget that..real people with real lives , families , convictions , feelings..that is easy to lose sight on that on this sometimes sterile internet..

Bill, I don't stop by here often (though I will admit to sneaking a peek recently), but I feel good about us "burying the hatchet".
We are very different people, but some of what you typed on CMZ hit home...respect...that's the key word.

Hi Chuck, nice to see you drop by "The Pit."

All this religious zealot talk is making me ill. Rich, what you are experiencing with help from the christian groups is people acting upon their beliefs, rather than just preaching their dogma. These people are to be commended for acting and reacting to those in need. Organized religion has become a fashion show or a social gathering place - much like hippietim's clear freeway utopia. These folks get together to impress each other with their dedication to the faith so their cocks can grow hard in their dockers at the thought of such devotion.
The people helping Rich and his neighbors are true christians. Do as you would want done unto you, and all that jazz. The teachings of Jesus are pretty basic, in my opinion. Be a good shit, don't be a dick and multiply & replenish the earth. Lerx is getting the good stuff - the ideal.
The people you have encountered Bill, that talked the talk are the dicks. You see, there are three kinds of people in the world... You know the rest.
I don't ever get in on these conversations as I have paid my dues to my faith...both in word and deed. Two hard, long years of total dedication and service - walking the earth and such. I normally just watch the show in this thread but I guess I have finally cracked. Thanks Jimmy, you said it well. I know very well that a lot of so-called Christians judge and put people off, but remember there are good and bad people in every walk of life. If you hear someone butcher a cool song at the bar, that doesn't mean the song sucks, just the hack who played it badly. It took me about 25 years to figure that out for myself. I also think if you look at the ratio it's usually 50-1 of people bashing Christians here versus someone saying something good about them, so it's not like we come in here proselytizing. Those who blame religion for all humanity's ills have not really read their history properly.
It's caused some problems, but let's look at a few historical figures who weren't motivated by religion, like Alexander the Great, Genghis Khan, Napoleon, Hitler and Stalin. Religion didn't start THOSE wars. I could dig up a lot more but those are some biggies.
Ron is the MAN!!!!
