I do believe it was made in 99.
Body and neck are oil finished so it feels great.
Ebony fingerboard with Abalon inlays,2 EMGs and 24fres.
Great guitar and plays and sounds fantastic. [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]
I don't think BC Rich build Explorer anymore.
I only have seen several from 80's and very few from 90's.
AND the one I have is the best I have ever seen [img]/images/graemlins/cool.gif[/img]

Semantics, but it's a custom Dinky. Not a PC. Yeah, yeah, with the quilted top and flamed maple neck, I can understand how it kind of looks like a PC1. While the appearances are similar though, a lot of the specs are very different (neck profile, woods, PUs, inlays, etc.).

Obviously, I've got nothing against PC1s, though. Great axes, too! [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img]

No apologies necessary. [img]/images/graemlins/blush.gif[/img] I was just razzing you. The Dinky's specs are as follows, with PC1 comparison in ():

- Swamp ash body (mahogany)

- Super flamed maple neck & fretboard (only FB is flamed, not the neck)

- MOP dot inlays (none)

- PUs are Dimarzio Super3 in bridge (same), Virtual Vintage
in middle (HS2), none in neck (FR sustainer)

- 1 volume & 5 way w/coil splitting (1V, 1T, 1 sustainer intensity, on/off toggle, root/harmonic toggle, traditional 5 way - no coil splitting)

- Thin neck profile (vs. very thick)

- Clear gloss neck finish (oiled)

- "Custom shop" logo (vs. PC signature [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] )

...There might be others I'm forgetting off the top of my head.

OK, this is the pedalboard. The stuff that's on it tends to change, but what you see in the pic are the units that I probably end up using the most anyway.
