And that's exactly why i think old people should also have to take courses every say 3-5 years when they are older than 65 to prove that they are still able to drive.
I mean the gouvernment here in germany denies that 17 year old people are able to drive yet if you are 100 years old, deaf and blind you are still allowed to drive. There are no restrictions concerning age (besides the 18 years you have to be to make your driving license).
It's not that uncommon here that you hear in radio or read in newspaper that old people drove over people, injuring or killing them and didn't even realize until they were stopped by others.

That's really a very big problem with our driving license system.

Look at her windshield wiper. In the first photo it is down in what appears to be the off position. But in the second she has turned it on, clearing her vision of that pesky pedestrian.
