Dunlop Jazz III
Small and pointy as hell. I've been using them for the last 15 years or so and can't play with anything else now. I tried a full sized Tortex the other day and I felt like I was playing with a dinner plate.

My thoughts exactly!

I am using the Dunlop USA H3 Purple Tortex picks for the last year or so and I can't go back to anything else other than these. It was hard to mute and chord with them at first. After a month or so of using them constantly I increased speed and became much more accurate. Now when I use anything bigger or rounder it feels like I am playing with a frisbee. I have been using 1.00 mm stainless steel picks that I had made. They are great for playing fast as there is absolutely no give what so ever.I find pinched harmonics are also easier to pull off.I used to use Dunlop Tortex 2.00mm.

Dunlop Jazz III here too.

They're my favorite pick and of course they have to cost twice as much as all other picks here in sweden

had to buy a pack of 70 cause they were tough to track down, one of the best guitar purchases I've made.

What's the angle on those Ultex picks? How do they compare to a Tortex or Gator Grip?

Box...I use the 1mm Ultex picks and they are great picks, well, for me They are really smooth against the strings and you don't have that "clunk" that I hear with Tortex, Delrin or other materials ( I can't stand that "clunk" ) They work really well for tremolo picking also. I don't exactly know what the material composition is in them, but it is great. I guess you will have to try/hear one to decide for yourself.

They're definitely different. I thought they were a little slippery at first and had a hard time adjusting to them. I still prefer the Gator Grips, but like I said, I bounce back and fourth between four different picks, so maybe I should just stick with only one for awhile and see how it goes. I still notice a little clicky/clunky sound with them, though.
