• Ionic air purifiers... anybody have experience?

I want to get an ionic air purifier for my bedroom... sort of like the Ionic Breeze as advertised on TV, but the price is a little steep (over $300 American for one). I'm thinking I only need a small one since it's just for my bedroom. What do you recommend that's cheaper than the Ionic Breeze (but still works on the same principle) and isn't too big that it's overkill for a bedroom?

Provide links, testimonials, and such. Thanks!

Is that the bathroom size one they sell at sharper image? If so, don't waste your money. I wasn't overjoyed with it's performance.

I quickly browsed for the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze and if you buy the full-sized $300 one, you get the small bathroom one as a free gift or something. That's the impression I got from it. It's been a while since I've seen the commercials on TV for it though...

Priest-

Check out Neo-Tec. I have an XJ-2000 I got a couple years ago and I love it. It makes a huge difference!

I don't remember exactly where I bought mine, but it was $100 at the time. They're cheaper now.
This particular one is good for a small-mid size room and you can even take it with you in your car (which is awesome-I travel a lot).
Hope this helps.

Oh.. and btw-- its small(perfect for bedrooms) and doesn't look lame either.

P-Stang has the full size units and says they work well, has like three of them.

I want one, just can't come off that kind of dough right now, haha...

Our whole family dressed up as the Adams Family for Halloween last year- it was hysterical. My daughter IS Wednesday.

Re: Ionic air purifiers... anybody have experience

I mostly need this thing for my bedroom to prevent dust from collecting inside my computer tower. For some odd reason, my room is dustier than my brother's bedroom, and we're thinking it's because of the computer. I want to clean the air so the computer doesn't "clean" it for me and accumulate dust and prevent proper ventilation.
