Man, I just got back from my 1st real good ride, went to the beach, got some coffee, checked out the ladies, rode up some cool twisties. It's fukkong sweet, other than it's 85 degrees and I wear my gear everytime I ride so I'm kinda dehiderated,

hey i'am not that far from ya, about 1.5 hours. if you ever want to go on a road trip get a hold of me. i dont ride street bikes but i got three kawie quads that i love to ride. so if your bored give me holler and hook up. i have a little street custom car shop that i own and there is always something going here.

That's great that you wear your leathers every time you ride. I wear full gear when I ride my KX, even on the trails.

Ya, I got 2 scars on my head from when I was 14 from not wearing my helmet when I was testing my new bike on the trail by my house, so I take my safty equiptment pretty serious now, got the full joe rocket suite I wear on the street, with my old school shoei rf200 helmet. I need to figue out some good boots though, my Adidas's aren't really the safest to wear on the street, Plus they're red, doesn't really match [img]/images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img]

I think Garne and Sidi make street boots/shoes that don't look TOO joe racer and still offer good ankle protection. Available in black as far as I know...I'm a little out of the loop. Haven't worked in a bike shop for a couple years now.

I'm finishing up a'49 cadillac that i chopped, molded, put airbags on, and all kinds of other stuff. I just fixed a '38 ford coupe that they had broke the frame, I'm bringin in a '39 ford sedan today as my next job, i work by myself, no employees.

The Garne boots are nice, I've always liked their mx stuff. I'm gonna hit the shop here this week and see about tires, boots and a few other small things.

yeah, i'm not much into the 32's myself. actually i dig the 50's customs myself, but whatever brings home the paycheck, i will work on. no i didn't go to goodguys this weekend, i have been there dang near every year, and i'm tired of the politics, i know most the people from the host club, and don't get along to well with some of them (i used to work for one of them). i was looking at some of the cars you did, and i have done some of the muscle cars myself, my favorite being a '69 roadrunner.

That's why I don't go to any of the mopar shows around hear, I hate the people in the host club, a few years ago at spring fling there was a 71 Hemi Cuda Convertable, my uncles 68 Hemi Gtx Vert, and a few other cool ones, Well they should've just gave every award to the Cuda, but The presidant of the club got 1st in his 68 Charger, the cuda got 2nd and a 64 fury which belong to another club member got 3rd. I don't care where it is but if at any show you got 2 MINT hemi convertables they should always leave with a trophy.

Did a bunch of kick ass riding today, got some real nice Frank Thomas boots and tank bag, last night I had my right leg a little to close to the engine cover and burned myself a little bit, so the boots make a huge fuckkin difference.
