Well, I am walking to the fleamarket today and it's supposed to top out at 94. If you don't hear from me in 4 hours, I am probably dead in a ditch from heat prostration. They have these open ditches for drainage where I live and they may not find me for days. If I don't make it back, I just want to say it's been a slice. If I do make it home, I will consume vast quantities of beer and pass put in a pool of sweat. Ya, just gotta love Seattle. [img]/images/graemlins/toast.gif[/img]

Dang, and a lot of homes there don't have A/C. I can remember how much whining went on up there when it anything above about 80 F when I lived there. Oh well, persevere and take heart - the heat should break in another day or two.Takeoffs are optional but landings are mandatory.Comment

I got highjacked walking home from the market. I helped this guy last weekend at his garage sale. He was noy going my way, but stopped and said he would give me a ride. This was at 10:30. We got back at 5:15. We went on a garage sale quest. We must have hit 30 sales and drove 100 miles. He is an older guy that has 50's war stories like you wouldn't believe. Driving is good and you don't sweat. Sitting is bad because all the liquid leaves your body. Kids, get your grandparents to talk. Well, at about 2:30 the day was so slow I decided to go on a "parts run" around lake washington on my bike, got back to close up shop at 5, that sped my day up. Got home at about 5:20 took a COLD shower, cranked up the Van Halen, and Motley Crue and I'm sittin' here sippin on a cool lemenadeI've fallen, Fallen through. It got to a whole 70 degrees here in Cleveland today ....and My air is still runnin'..well because ...
