Friday's gig (My Cherry is broken)

We did our thing Friday and it went well. I was afraid to bring my Triaxis rig to this bar since it's not in the greatest area, so I brought my single recto and 1x12 3/4back cab. We had a great mix onstage. During sound check, the sound guy kept telling me to turn it up... I wasn't ready for that! Guitar wise, I used my Wolfgang Special for the whole set but had the Epiphony with me for backup. I made a few mistakes but no one in the audience seemed to notice. The band played good! All in all it was an awesome experience... and I was completely sober, at least until we were done! [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

Next gig? I just got a call from the bass player and it sounds like they want to play a party tomorrow night! The bar asked us to come back Sept. 17.

Sound like you had fun. You rocked their world! The downward spiral begins... the groupies, the trashed hotel rooms, the paparazzi [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] No one ever notices errors by guitarists, only drummers have to worry. Besides, even if you hit a real clunker of a note, grab the wang bar, do a bomber dive while making a face, and you're back in black. For the next gig just correct that sobriety issue, and you're all set!!
