  • Anyone here like Muscle Cars...??

My 2 favorite things have always been cars and guitars. I've had my dream guitars for awhile, but finally came into my dream car. A 1968 Dodge Super Bee. I'm having a few things done to it right now, and then it will be time to cruise the streets with almost 400 HP under my foot. I still have my daily driver so I can really baby this car. It will never see inclement weather.

SuperBees are alright, but Im panting for a 70 SuperBird...I found one of sale recently and its supposed to the the "last" one made....I cant remember the number of it, and the guy that has it is in NY and is selling it for....take a breath....over 200,000.....I would KILL for that one....the guy says all the numbers match and its all original. ...So...if anybody wants to donate to the cause, I will gladly change my name to Charity and put your 200,000 to VERY good use...

We did this car this year... I think he paid around 80k for it, I'll have to ask.

Supposed to be the only yellow, convertable, automatic, 429 Shelby ever made, extreme frame offf restoration, our trans.

Another pretty hyper old Ford we did this year.

Nice Super Bee! Those are my second favorite B-Body. Yeah, here is the one my brother and I picked up a few months back. We are still trying to figure out what to paint it:

LPC, build a clone car. All the parts are reproduced these days and the Superbird is the easiest to build because it doesn't require the extensive body mods like the Daytona. The key is finding a good '70 Roadrunner and a set of 70 Charger (I think, it may be Coronet) front fenders. Check out the winged car clubs as replicas of these are very popular and there is lots of infio out there to build them yourself.

Re: Anyone here like Muscle Cars...??

I know NOTHING about building a car, and neither does Mr LPC (hell he cant change his own oil)...and I wouldnt trust any of the marines around here to build me anything. I would be better off just buying the 02 Prowler we have in the showroom, its stickered at only 45K..it would have to have a custom paint job though, right now its yellow with a black top...Im thinking it would look 110% better Atlas orange with a black top....

Now if I could only find another 69 and 70 Chevy C-10 stepside 4X4, one with a 305 (I think anyway) and one with a 250 flat 6...yeah I know a 250 aint ****...that thing would be wound out at 55 in 3rd gear, but that thing would pull like a bitch...I remember taking it up in wildcat with a bunch of redneck friends of mine, and drinking SoCo...nobody elses truck could pull this huge ass CAT outta the mud...but Lady (yes my trucks name was Lady) pulled it out once I put her in granny gear and 4 hi....dammit I want that truck back!!!

A good body shop can do the conversion for you. I would be willing to wager a fair number of these around on display and in movies and TV are actually clones. The beauty of the clone car is you can drive it and enjoy it.

Ya, it's a pretty strait forward swap. At this point I would be hard pressed to drive a 85k-150k car. I'll have one some day, along with a matching limelight green Charvel
