Wow. This sucks.
Stu was a long time member here and was a wealth of information. Helpful and generous to a fault. Great guy.

My condolences to his family. RIP Stu.

Re: Stu T Davis??!

I was so much hoping it wasn't true.

What a cool guy Stu was. He was always open minded and so mellow, one of the nicest guys. He was VERY knowledgeable and technical oriented. I talked a lot with him about music and equipment, and got a lot of ideas from him. He was just a really good person. I'm really bummed on this one.

Doing a search on his name, I found he visited his playstation board at 7:48am on the 26th, probably right before the accident.

I guess he was living in Pelion South Carolina.

Blessed Be my brother, RIP.

oh ****...

Stu was a great, great guy; very down-to-earth and genuinely nice. He lived in Perris, CA (Moreno Valley area) until March of this year, when he moved back to South Carolina (if I remember correctly that's where he was from originally). I bought a guitar from him and drove down to Perris to do the transaction in person; I met his wife (he was married, no kids) and we hung out for a couple hours (mostly talking music and him letting me play his moser custom shop through his very nice rig). They were both extremely nice people and we talked about meeting up at a show or something. We didn't get around to it before he moved back east, but he dropped me an email letting me know they had arrived in SC safely. He will be missed

He was thirty. I know he was married. Not sure about kids. I found some TV and Newspaper articles. It's real tough to look at.
