Re: Stu T Davis??!

I can't add too much more of what you guys touched on some of you were much closer to him .....even though I always enjoyed his company and he did mine...

I'm so bummed today I told my whole family about it ....I would like to send something If I could ...what , I really don't know yet ...

I thought maybe a direct paypal account to his wife would be an idea ( I'm too much a retard to set that up ) but if someone could I would me happy to participate...I understand that he didn't have any children which is a bit of a relief in this circumstance ...but his beloved wife with health issues does add worry to this tragedy.

This and my friend Rich's brother is gone....and my own brother has to spend a couple of months in the hospital due to another major motocycle accident just two days ago ...he's a mess..I'm a mess. ......goddamn!

I'l check in but I'm not my usual self today ....I'm just coming here to keep in touch for now..

don't let stupid petty things get up are asses anymore ...we all have someting in common here even though we all don't always agree on bs.. we are all here for a reason ....and it's all the same reason ...anyone one of us can go in a flash..

It's kind of sad that it takes a tragedy to bring people closer together ...just human nature I suppose...

There is no one here I hate or even dislike ...even if that seems to be "percieved" times ...

I wish only the best fortune for every fellow member here ...

Sincerely Bill

Sorry dude ...."retard" has became such a cliche kind of word like "fag" been saying both of those words since high school to best freinds moslty.....and I watch wayyyyyyyyyyyyy too much southpark.....I think that the only two words they use ...

Sorry no offense ...if you knew me ...you would know I meant know harm ...I don't know your bro and I'm sure he's a great dude ....I have some mentaly challenged freinds in my own family as well ...

Please Don't take what I say literally .....I have a very weird and overly sick humor ...always had and always will .....it get's me through.

Re: Stu T Davis??!

This is horrible. I never met Stu, but read his posts and enjoyed what he wrote. I can't even remember him ever being embroiled in any arguement on this board either, which is pretty rare.

I had a friend pass away a few years back. He worked on my car, and we were both in an internet club for Mitsubishi Eclipses, Eagle Talons and Plymouth Lasers. Jeff was a hell of a mechanic, and had one of the faster cars in the country. He did something foolish testing a new turbo setup late one night, and died in a really bad car wreck. At his funeral, his parents were amazed of how many people knew and respected their son - all from the internet. His wife obviously knew what a great guy Stu was, and hopefully has an idea of how many lives he touched on this board, the Hamer one, and others. He will be missed.

I hope his widow sues the piss out of the bus company. No, it won't bring Stu back, but the last thing she needs now is grief AND a bad money situation. Of course, people who really do need an attorney for a case like this seldom do as well as the ones who spill hot coffee on themselves at the McDonalds drive thru.

One last thought... after you reach a certain age, I really think you ought to be tested to see if you're safe behind the wheel. I had some old ho pull out from a parking lot and slam into the side of my firebird two years ago - if I was driving anything with a higher center of gravity I would have rolled into oncoming traffic instead of just some scary spins. I was doing 40 or so at the time, and yanked the hell out of the wheel to try to avoid her. If I had a dime for every time some old fart in a vehicle nearly hit me on the road because they weren't aware of what was going on...

Oh man.
I'm just finding out about this now.
I didn't know Stu but I recognize his name. The posts y'all have written about him talk about what a remarkable person he is- very touching. Makes me wish I had had the opportunity to know him better.
From what y'all say it just goes to show that though the JCFers may be a funny & joking group of dudes and dudettes- you really are a seriously caring bunch of people. That means a lot, even if this is cyber world.
This really breaks my heart to hear of this tragedy, makes one feel pretty small. All I can say is blessed be to Stu and his wife Monique. May he rest in peace.

I keep thinking about Stu, so i went to the american memorial site and wrote my tribute to him (see below). If you feel like it too, go to this address and register for entering a tribute:

Tribute to Stu

Would it be appropriate to wrap this thread up and somehow send it to his widow Monique? She was so informative on the PlayStation board when he passed away, so i feel like this is the least we can do.

Stu was a loved, appreciated and respected member of the Jackson/Charvel online guitar forum www.jcfonline.com

Stu helped me out many times on the message board, sharing his knowledge in music equipment, always in a relaxed and informative way. Even though i never met him in real life, i could easily sense that he was a genuinely nice and gentle guy. Stu was very knowledgeable and his straightforward and positive comments on the board will be missed. I will remember Stu as a very humorous guy too and his prescence always made me feel good.

My sincerest condolences to his family and friends.
Rest in piece, Stu.
