Re: The pic that Newc has been waiting for...

"TEKKY, focusing and taking pictures with flash makes still pictures and the camera focuses very fast. Try using tripod if you like to shoot without the flash.
And what for the flash feedback effect goes: most of the cameras have zoom (either optical or digital), so step away few step, focus and narrow the image on your camera, zoom it to the level you wish, then take it. You won't believe how the flash light will spread. "

Thanks for the advice, but it's too much trouble to carry a tripod for a cheap camera like mine. Most of the pictures I take are a) in close quarters and b) when I've had a few to drink. Again, I thank you for your advice.

I'm glad to finally put a face to the name, Matt (NewC). I'll be honest, for a couple of years I thought YOU were Frat Boy Chaz!

TEKKY, sure, I understand. Tripods are unhandy, but pretty decent stuff if you have one of those days to sit in the woods and taking pictures like crazy.

I have Olympus MJU 300, and the thing about cameras is that you have to know it to every detail. Just see the picture I took yesterday (Mercedes-Benz engine - the inner oil cavity and chains for running the man shaft).

I think this picture satisfy even very delicate tastes.
I wanted to grab the chain the hole details and this is what I got.
I think it's pretty decent, but of course my camera is worth app. 600 USD.

Y'know, I WAS going to ask the guys at NAMM "Ok, so who thought I was really Frat Boy Chaz?"

I think I could speak for Ralph when I say that we wanted to see you in a sleeveless camo t-shirt and aviator sunglasses striking a pose to prove you still weren't Frat-boy Chaz... ...and before you say anything, we would have asked you BEFORE the Raspberry Iced Tea fight...

Sounds good, but I don't get to the woods very often. There aren't too many heavily wooded areas in Chicago proper. The pic looks good though...

posing with a lime green yellow guitar....(wasnt that the color of the guitar Frat Boy Chaz was selling)

BTW, Has anyone ever seen him on any other auctions? that was funny as hell. We need more good ebay humor like that.

Or any humor for that matter.

Frat Boy had the black LP Custom with Kahler (that sold for $650) and his alter-ego had the Nuclear Yellow Kramer.

That is disturbing that you remember details on both of those, Matt!

Are you kidding? I'll never forget that black USA Gibson Les Paul Custom with Kahler that went for only $600 - that's my ultimate "missed out like a punk" moment

And how can anyone forget the Kramer?

Not to mention I've got a page dedicated to similar Internet/Ebay stuff
