DHL is a shipping company just like UPS or Fedex.
Try to look for one near the sender's address and ask him to take the cab with him to the DHL or have them to give an estimate on shipping.
Also you can get an estimate online if he/you know how big the package is.

Honestly I wouldn't trust a cabinet like that to UPS or any other common shipper. You have to take into consideration that these guys spend all day lifting heavy items and aren't pack mules - they'll definitely take out their frustration on your cabinet.
Ship it with a freight company that knows to load and unload these things with hand carts, straps, and a buddy.

Send the seller an extra $30 to find you a decent hand cart at a hardware store (Lowe's, etc) that has a 200 lb weight limit (or close), and some straps, have him strap it to the box, and to tell the shipping company that the dolly goes with it. Makes it easier for all 3 of you to load and unload it, which the guy on the truck will definitely appreciate.

Re: How much to ship a cab?

That could even happen to UPS or Fedex especially when they know these are heavy speakers.
They have some rules and some shipping companies will not accept huge cab/speakers because they are easy to break and speakers are sensitive.
That is why I said in earlier, It is the last thing to do.
Sending huge cab like that isn't easy.
8x10, it must be the size of a med size refrigerator!
You will end up using a trucking company which will ask a LOT.
If I were you, I would simply look for a local deal.
Even the price is higher, I at least get to try the cab before buying and also save my time.
If you are not willing to spend whatever the shipper is asking, this will go on and on.
What a waste of time for both of you.
