Johnny 5 is Aliiive!

Now this is just scary!!

I wore leg warmers too, but that's just because I was a ballet dancer. I only wore them to dance class and rehearsals though.

Garbage Pail kids were awesome! I had those cards! They were so disgusting. I don't remember seeing jelly shoes on the list, those sucked.
Slam books- those were all the rage in junior high and high school. Geez. How evil can kids get?
Four square will always rule- tether ball too. I notice that tether ball is no longer a playground sport...hmmm... I wonder why!
Oh Oh... and do you remember the MacDonald's song?! "Big Mac, Fillet-oh-fish, quarter pounder WITH CHEESE..." We got this stupid little square vinyl in the sunday paper we could play on our record player. Niiiice.

And by the way, I STILL wish I was a Gelfling. Shhh, don't tell nobody.

Yeah, familair with all of those, although that list is a TAD female-centric! I didn't have no stinkin' crush on any of those *dudes* you listed! For me, it was Farrah, then the Heathers (the one on Fall Guy, and Locklear). Although, when I first saw Leif Garret on a magazine cover, I thought he was a hot chick! How about the McDLT? Remember Jason Alexander did those commercials? You had the two part foam container and put the top half with the lettuce and tomato together with the bottom bun and burger after we bought it so the lettuce stayed crisp.

I also remember "Now and later" candies. 10 cents a pack was a good deal. Also remember the Choco Bliss cakes that were loaded with enough sugar to send anyone into sugar shock. Yeah, I am a fat bastard...I remember the foods best.

Didn't the McRib originally come out in the 80s. Those things were bliss!

Doc Martens! Those were huge (though I still wear mine, but I've outgrown the oxblood red).
The coolest thing was to spiff them up with different laces. Or maybe that was a girlie thing and none of the "tuff" guys really did that.
Oh and those rubbery bracelet things that you connected together and covered your arms with.
And pegging pants. Bwahahaha!

Jason Alexander- that guy bugs the crap outta me.
Def Leppard RULED. (Still does )
Hair Bands- Poison anyone? Greatest hairband ever! JUST KIDDING. Sheesh.

I will shut up now. Sorry- I LOVED the 80s.

Theres one thing I remember like it was yesterday that isnt mentioned on this list anywhere...Night Tracks on TBS....everybody wanted to stay at my house on weeekends because not too many people had cable back in the sticks and I was one of the lucky ones that had it....

Summer nights were the best, playing spotlight until midnight (that was being out late for me)....then going back to my house and grilling steak and watching Night Tracks....

Then it was Headbangers Ball....I think I had my license then....so I HAD to be home by midnight just to watch it!!

Oh and coming home wasted was a blast too.....I had it made, daddy drank alot, and mom grew her own weed in the basement...if I had been out drinking, it was daddy that told mom I was fine and hadnt been into anything, and if I was stoned, it was mom that gave the all clear....

Don't forget the corn. It's nutritious, delicious, and ribbed for her pleasure.
