  • Need info on Oklahoma City

Headed to OK city over the Thanksgiving holidays. Want to book a hotel to serve as home base and from there we'll head out to visit the local attractions (zoo, museums, etc). We do this every year, hit someplace different that we've never seen before. Better than staying at home and eating turkey with relatives. OK city is the city of choice this year. Can anyone give me hints as to what part of town to stay in, or stay away from? I usually use priceline.com and get a hotel room. They have OK City broken down into 7 areas. One of which is the airport area, and since airports aren't usually in the best areas, I was gonna skip that. The areas are:
    1) Crossroads/Moore
    2) Tinker / Del City
    3) OK City (intersection of I40 and I35)
    4) OK city north (west of the horse track, following I44)
    5) Frontier City
    6) Quail Springs

Any advice would be great and very appreciated.

I manage the Days Inn Northwest (on I-44 and N.May). It's close to everything, such as the bombing memorial, the zoo, bricktown (warehouse district that has been redone, its cool.) Lots of things to do. I'll even beat the best rate you can find on priceline to help you out. And I may even toss in a beer at our club.
    Let me know..
